JOB OVERVIEW

Pre Litigation Demand, Settlement, and File Advancement Role

Opening:
Champion Injury Attorneys is looking for a highly experienced personal injury professional who can take ownership of files after treatment ends and move them to demand, negotiation, settlement, or litigation recommendation.
This is not an entry level role. This is not a general assistant role. We need someone who can audit stalled personal injury files, identify missing medical records and bills, push demand packages forward, communicate with clients, follow up with providers, negotiate with adjusters, and help identify when a case should be escalated for litigation.

Main job duties:
Audit stalled personal injury files
Identify missing medical records
Identify missing medical bills
Confirm treatment status
Follow up with providers
Follow up with clients
Prepare files for demand
Upload complete information into Demand Pro

Send demands to adjusters
Follow up with adjusters
Negotiate claims
Track statutes
Identify cases that need litigation
Help prevent files from sitting
Give weekly case movement reports

Required experience:
At least 5 years personal injury experience
Experience with demand packages
Experience reviewing medical records and bills
Experience communicating with clients
Experience following up with adjusters
Experience moving stagnant files forward
Strong written English
Strong spoken English
Comfortable working remotely
Comfortable being measured by results

Strongly preferred:
California personal injury experience
Spanish fluency
Filevine experience
Demand writing experience
Settlement negotiation experience
Experience supervising junior case managers
