About the Role
We are looking for an elite, senior-level Video Editor and Colorist with extensive professional experience using DaVinci Resolve.
This role is for a highly skilled editor who understands performance advertising, cinematic storytelling, motion graphics, color grading, sound design, pacing, captions, and conversion-focused editing. You must be able to turn raw footage into polished, high-performing video ads that capture attention and drive action.
This is a full-time, exclusive position. You must personally perform the editing work and be fully dedicated to our company. We are not looking for an agency, editing team, project manager, or someone who will subcontract the work to another editor.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit polished, conversion-focused video advertisements
- Work primarily in DaVinci Resolve
- Organize and edit large cinema-camera files, including high-resolution footage
- Create strong hooks, pacing, cuts, transitions, and visual storytelling
- Perform professional color correction and advanced color grading
- Match footage from different cameras, lighting conditions, and shooting environments
- Create motion graphics, animated text, callouts, and branded visual elements
- Design clean, accurate, and engaging captions
- Mix dialogue, music, sound effects, and voiceovers
- Clean and enhance audio for professional delivery
- Select music and sound effects that improve pacing and emotional impact
- Create multiple ad variations for testing different hooks, messages, lengths, and calls to action
- Format videos for
- Export videos in the correct dimensions, formats, codecs, and quality settings
- Review every project carefully for spelling, timing, audio, color, continuity, and technical errors
- Manage project files, footage, graphics, audio, and exports in an organized manner
- Complete revisions accurately and on time
- Communicate proactively with the creative and marketing teams
Required Experience and Skills
- Several years of professional video-editing experience
- Senior-level expertise in DaVinci Resolve
- Expert knowledge of professional color correction and color grading
- Strong understanding of direct-response and performance-ad editing
- Advanced knowledge of pacing, storytelling, hooks, retention, and calls to action
- Strong motion-graphics and text-animation skills
- Excellent sound design, audio cleanup, and audio-mixing abilities
- Experience editing social-media advertisements in vertical, square, and horizontal formats
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and execute the intended vision accurately
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organization and file-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
- Ability to accept feedback professionally and execute revisions precisely
- A strong professional portfolio demonstrating editing, advertising, color-grading, motion-graphics, and audio skills
Technical Requirements
You must have:
- A powerful, reliable editing computer capable of handling large cinema files and high-resolution footage
- Sufficient RAM, GPU performance, processing power, and storage for demanding professional projects
- A professional DaVinci Resolve editing setup
- A color-accurate monitor suitable for professional grading
- Fast, reliable internet for uploading and downloading large media files
- A secure and dependable file-storage and backup system
- A quiet, professional full-time work environment
Important Conditions
- This is a full-time role
- You must personally complete all editing work
- Subcontracting, outsourcing, or passing projects to another editor is not permitted
- You must be available and responsive during the company’s required working hours
- This position requires exclusive professional commitment; you may not edit for other clients while employed in this role
- Applicants whose primary role is managing other editors will not be considered
- Applicants must be prepared to verify that they are personally completing the work
