Rate: $5.00 – $7.00 USD/hour (Based on experience + Night Shift Differential)
We are a specialized foot care business serving a high volume of senior citizens across the West Coast. We are looking for a dedicated, empathetic, and strategically-minded Virtual Assistant to be the "voice" of our company and the manager of our local digital presence.
This is a multi-faceted role. Your primary goal is to ensure our senior patients feel heard and understood, while simultaneously managing the complex logistics of 7 mobile nurses to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum travel costs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Communication & Scheduling (Highest Priority)
The "Senior Voice": Answer incoming calls from elderly patients. You must speak slowly, clearly, and with extreme patience, as many of our clients are hard of hearing.
Empathetic Booking: Help seniors navigate their foot care needs and book appointments with our nursing team using our proprietary scheduling app.
Lead Management: Proactively follow up on missed calls and voi
2. Strategic Logistics & Route Optimization
Travel Fee Management: Our app automatically calculates travel expenses. Your job is to strategically schedule patients in "clusters" to trigger the lowest possible travel fees for the clients.
Nurse Operations: Assist our 7 mobile nurses in setting their daily "Base of Operations" within the app to optimize their routes and increase their booking capacity.
Proactive Filling: Monitor nurse schedules for gaps. You will reach out to past patients in specific geographic areas to fill empty slots and maximize nurse productivity.
3. Local SEO & Google Business Profile (GBP) Management
Multi-City Management: Set up and optimize Google Business Profile listings for the various cities we serve.
Local SEO Maintenance: Ensure "NAP" (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across all listings.
Review Management: Monitor and respond to patient reviews with a warm, professional tone.
Google Posts: Create weekly updates on GBP to highlight local availability, travel fee discounts, and foot care tips.
4. Niche Social Media Management
Content Execution: Turn provided foot care tips, app improvements, and other content into professional posts for
Engagement: Monitor and reply to community comments and direct messages.
5. Technical QA (As Needed)
App Testing: Act as our internal Quality Assurance tester. As you use the app for scheduling, document any bugs or user-experience issues with screenshots or recordings (Loom).
Requirements
Perfect Verbal Clarity: A neutral, very clear English accent is mandatory. You must be able to adjust your speaking pace for hard-of-hearing seniors.
Logistics Mindset: You enjoy "Tetris-style" scheduling and finding the most efficient way to organize a map.
Local SEO Knowledge: Experience managing Google Business Profiles (claiming, verifying, and optimizing) is a strong plus.
Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Google Workspace.
Medical/Healthcare Background: Previous experience in US healthcare admin or medical billing is highly preferred.
Reliability: High-speed internet with a backup power/data plan. Comfortable working the graveyard shift (PST hours).
