The Role - Own the Results Through Creative Strategy:

We're not looking for someone who optimises campaigns and waits for instructions. We want an expert Media Buyer who also happens to think like a Creative Strategist, someone who takes full ownership of client KPIs and leads the creative charge.
You won't design ads yourself. You'll architect the angles, hooks, and messaging that win, and oversee the team that brings them to life.

What You'll Do

Core - Paid Media and Creative Strategy:

> Own the creative strategy: Research audiences and consumer psychology, identify winning patterns from data, and drive the entire brief process covering angles, hooks, messaging, and testing roadmaps. Collaborate with our creative production team to ensure only well-hypothesised, compelling concepts move forward.
> Run the ad accounts: Execute and scale campaigns across Meta (primary), TikTok, and Pinterest. Use our automation tooling to streamline execution. Your focus is on strategic ideas and decisions, not manual tasks.
> Quality control creative and copy: Review all ad creative and copy against client brand guides before anything goes live. Use our AI-powered QC tools as a first pass, but bring your own sharp eye for what's on-brand, compelling, and built to convert.
> Plan ahead: Map campaign calendars for key sale events (Black Friday, EOFY, etc.), brief the team proactively, and ensure we're always working well ahead of major ---------- nts.
> Report on performance: Produce clear, insightful client reports (AI-assisted) that translate data into strategic recommendations, not just numbers.

Secondary: Cross-Channel Awareness

You won't run email, CRO or Google Ads. We have specialists for those. But you will:
> Monitor big-picture performance across channels and flag issues or opportunities (e.g. "paid is down, should we ramp up email this week?")
> Collaborate with the Project Manager in weekly team check-ins to keep delivery on track
> Contribute strategic ideas where paid media intersects with other channels
> Oversee and review outputs from our AI tools as they're rolled out, providing feedback and ensuring quality

Bonus: if you have Google Ads experience, there's potential to fold that into your scope over time.

The Tech Stack We're Building:

We've already built, and are continuing to build, automation tools that handle the repetitive work so you can focus on what actually drives results:

> Automated ad publishing: Ads are built and published directly from Airtable. No manual uploading to Ads Manager.
> AI-powered copy generation and QC: We use custom Claude skills trained on client brand guides to write and review copy.
> Creative performance tracking: We're building dashboards and AI tools to surface winning hooks and angles across accounts.
> Optimisation tooling: We're actively developing an AI agent to assist with daily account analysis and optimisation.

We want someone who can work with these tools and help shape how we use them. Underpinning all of this is a tight project management setup in ClickUp, so you always know what's on, what's due, and what the team is working on. This is what lets you focus on the work that actually matters.

Who You Are:

> A creative thinker first: You understand consumer psychology. You can look at data and see the story behind the numbers. > > You have strong instincts about what makes a great ad and you push back on mediocre creative.
> A genuine owner: You treat client accounts like your own business. You flag problems before they escalate. You don't wait to be told what to do.
> Efficient and organised: You can manage 5-8 accounts strategically without getting overwhelmed. You focus on what actually moves the needle.
> Tech-forward: You embrace AI and automation to work smarter, and you're excited by tools that take repetitive work off your plate.
> High standards: You don't ship ads you wouldn't be proud of. You care about quality (copy, creative, brand alignment) and it shows.
> A strong communicator: Native or C-level English. You can brief a design team clearly and explain performance to internal stakeholders.

Experience Required:

> 3+ years managing Meta Ads for eCommerce brands, with daily budgets of $500+/account
> Total career ad spend of $500k+, with proven scaling success (case studies required)
> Hands-on TikTok Ads experience for eCommerce, with deep understanding of what works creatively
> Demonstrated ability to develop creative strategy: briefing teams, developing angles and hooks, connecting data to creative direction and identifying patterns
> eCommerce focus, ideally in homewares, jewellery and fashion
> Native or C1/C2 English proficiency

Bonus Points:

> Pinterest Ads experience
> Google Ads knowledge
> Copywriting training or background
> ClickFunnels or funnel strategy experience
> Familiarity with Airtable, ClickUp, Looker Studio or similar workflow tools

Starting Details:

> Hours: Part-time, 3 days/week initially, with a clear path to full-time as our client roster grows
> Engagement type: Open to either part-time employment (with entitlements) or contractor arrangement, based on your preference.
> Location: Fully remote. Hybrid option for Sydney-based candidates
> Time zone: Must be available for 50%+ of Australian business hours (AEST)
> Compensation: $1,000 - $1,500 USD/month (3 days/week) | FTE $1,700 - $2,500 USD/month | + performance incentives
> Reports to: Chief Growth Marketer for strategy and Project Manager for day-to-day task management
> Growth Path: As the agency scales, there is a clear opportunity for this role to evolve into a broader team leadership position overseeing our client delivery pod.
