We are hiring an experienced WordPress developer with strong PHP and UI implementation skills to help expand a custom WordPress-based application platform.

You will be working inside an existing production codebase, improving features, building plugins, extending systems, and helping scale internal platform functionality.

What You’ll Be Working On:

This role includes both backend engineering and UI feature implementation inside WordPress.

Responsibilities include:

-Developing custom WordPress plugins
-Modifying and extending existing plugins
-Updating and improving legacy code
-Building new platform features
-Implementing admin dashboard UI components
-Supporting frontend feature logic tied to backend systems
-Creating REST API integrations
-Maintaining clean and scalable architecture
-Improving performance and database queries
-Adding automation workflows inside WordPress
-Supporting role-based permissions and logic systems
-Working safely inside a live production environment

This is application-level WordPress development, not theme editing.

Required Experience (Must Have)

Applicants must demonstrate experience with:

-Advanced PHP
-Custom WordPress plugin development
-Editing and improving existing WordPress codebases
-WordPress hooks and filters
-Admin UI implementation inside WordPress
-JavaScript for WordPress interfaces
-MySQL
-REST APIs
-Git version control
-Debugging production systems

If your experience is mostly Elementor or theme styling, this role is not a match.

This is a long-term engineering role, not task-based freelance work.
