JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
We are seeking a senior Developer experienced with the PHP framework, Symfony, to join our Development team. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives on architecting and building complex backend systems that support secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions. You’ll play a key role in evolving our proprietary platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver sophisticated functionality across both internal tools and customer-facing services.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using PHP with Symfony

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues

Ensure application performance, security, and scalability

Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing as required

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a PHP Developer, preferably in a contract or project-based role

Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming

Experience with the PHP framework, Symfony

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs

Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments

Familiarity with cloud platforms

Experience with front-end frameworks

Prior experience supporting short-term or deadline-driven projects
