JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

We are hiring a senior-level video editor who specialises in Meta (Facebook & Instagram) video ads for lead generation.

This is paid traffic only.
Not organic.
Not branding.
Not cinematic storytelling.

Your job is simple and demanding:
Stop the scroll. Hold attention. Drive leads.

If you don’t understand performance-based editing, this role will not suit you.

What You’ll Be Editing

Meta video ads (Facebook & Instagram)

Short-form, direct-response creatives

Talking-head and opinion-led formats

Strategic, conversion-focused messaging

Typical length: 15–45 seconds

Output & Volume (Non-Negotiable)

Up to 10 ad edits per week

Creative variations (hooks, pacing, captions)

Fast turnaround with clean execution

Minimal revisions when brief is followed

This is a high-trust, high-expectation role.

Required Experience (Read Carefully)

You must have:

Proven experience editing Meta ads for lead generation

Deep understanding of:

Thumb-stop hooks (first 2–3 seconds)

Retention and pacing for paid traffic

On-screen text placement (Meta safe zones)

Creative fatigue and iteration

Experience editing with conversion intent, not vanity metrics

If your background is primarily YouTube, organic Reels, or cinematic edits — do not apply.

Tools & Workflow (Mandatory)

---------- for feedback and revisions

Notion for task tracking and workflow

Ability to self-manage deadlines and priorities

No onboarding on tools will be provided.

What We’re Looking For

Editors who think commercially, not emotionally

Comfortable pushing boundaries without breaking compliance

Can take direct, blunt feedback without ego

Understand that boring ads burn budget

You’ll be working with confident, opinionated creatives. You must be able to keep up.

What This Is NOT

Not organic social content

Not brand storytelling

Not template-based editing

Not a junior or learning role

This is direct-response advertising.

How to Apply (Mandatory)

To be considered, include:

2–3 Meta ad examples you’ve edited that were used for paid lead generation

A short answer to this question:

What makes a Meta video ad convert rather than just get views?

Applications without actual paid ad examples will be ignored.
