JOB OVERVIEW

We Are Hiring: Senior-Level Graphic Designer

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced senior-level graphic designer to join our team on a long-term, ongoing, month-to-month basis. This is a role for a seasoned professional who can bring technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a meticulous eye for detail to every project.

What We’re Looking For
We need a designer who:
- Has strong technical design skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Can self-manage projects and timelines to ensure on-time delivery without constant oversight.
- Excels at following directions and adhering to project guidelines.

Required Skills
To excel in this role, you must have:
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
- Prepress knowledge and experience, including converting colors for print and file packaging.
- The ability to correct minor errors, such as inconsistent capitalization in client-delivered content.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow directions precisely.
- A creative approach to problem-solving.
- Strong typography skills (e.g., fixing rags and kerning appropriately).
- Real-world client experience.
- The ability to recognize your limits and know when to push them.

Bonus Skills
If you have any of the following, you’ll stand out even more:
- WordPress expertise (especially with DIVI).
- Content writing capabilities.
- Illustration skills.

Typical Projects
Here’s a glimpse of the types of projects you’ll work on:
- Creating website mockups in Photoshop.
- Laying out print brochures.
- Updating or designing print ads.
- Developing brand designs.
- Crafting multipage brochures for companies.

How We Work
- We use Trello to manage projects.
- Projects are typically assigned during the first half of the week.
- Questions about a project should be asked within a day or two of assignment.
- Working files must always be stored on our cloud drive.
- Project time is tracked using our time-tracking software.
- You’ll be provided with brand assets, working files, and access to stock images and graphics as needed.

Compensation
- This position pays $15 USD per hour.
