JOB OVERVIEW

Firebow Holidays is looking for an experienced Holiday Let Operations Manager to take complete ownership of the day-to-day operation of our growing UK holiday let portfolio.

This is NOT a standard Virtual Assistant, PA or coordinator role. Please do not apply if you do not have sufficient experience.

I am looking for one exceptional individual who can think independently, solve problems, make decisions and see tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.

You must be working alone. I am not hiring an agency or a team, and the work must not be delegated to anyone else.

You must:
• Have at least 3 years' experience managing multiple holiday lets or serviced accommodation.
• Have an exceptional eye for detail and notice things others miss.
• Take complete ownership of issues until they are fully resolved.
• Think commercially and make sensible decisions.
• Be confident speaking to guests, cleaners and contractors by phone.
• Be highly organised and able to prioritise multiple properties at once.
• Have excellent written and spoken English.

You will be responsible for:
• Guest communication and issue resolution.
• Managing cleaners, contractors and supplier relationships.
• Maintenance coordination from initial report through to complete resolution.
• Damage claims, including evidence gathering, submission and follow-up.
• Revenue management – proactively manage pricing, occupancy, minimum stays, availability and booking performance across all channels using PriceLabs, Hostaway and channel-specific tools to maximise revenue.
• Operational projects, systems, SOPs and continuous process improvement.
• Using AI confidently to improve efficiency, automate workflows and accelerate delivery - not to generate unnecessary reports, documentation or information.
• Ensuring nothing falls through the cracks by seeing every task through to a documented conclusion.

Your role is to reduce my workload, not increase it. I expect you to independently manage priorities, solve problems and deliver completed outcomes each day with minimal supervision.

If your instinct is to investigate thoroughly, solve problems and only escalate once you have evidence and a recommendation, you'll thrive in this role.

You must be highly proficient with ClickUp and Google Workspace.

We use ClickUp as our operational control centre. Every task must have a clear owner, priority, deadline and outcome. Google Drive is our single source of truth, and all final documents, trackers and SOPs must be organised logically so they can be found instantly by anyone in the business.

Work Schedule
• Paid trial: Approx. 20 hours per week for the first 3–4 weeks.
• During the trial, you will be assessed on your ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and consistently deliver completed outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Permanent role: Approx. 40 hours per week upon successful completion of the trial.
• Must work exclusively for Firebow Holidays during UK business hours (9am–5pm).
• Must be available to support genuine guest and operational issues during evenings and weekends when required.
• No delegation. This role is for one dedicated Operations Manager, not an agency or team.
