JOB OVERVIEW

Full-time | 40 hours/week | $2,000 USD/month + 13th Month Pay | Immediate Start

**ABOUT US**
Intent Brands owns two growing consumer brands sold through Amazon and Shopify: SurviveX, a premium first aid and emergency preparedness brand, and Aerotrunk, a premium hardside luggage brand.

**THE ROLE**
We're looking for a senior-level designer who can own the visual output of both brands, from retail packaging and Amazon A+ content to ecommerce and social media, with minimal supervision.

**What You'll Do**
-Design retail packaging, inserts, labels and production-ready artwork
-Create Amazon listing images, infographics and A+ Content
-Design Amazon Brand Store and Shopify assets
-Create social media and marketing graphics
-Retouch, composite and art-direct product imagery
-Maintain and evolve both brands' visual identities

***What We're Looking For**
We're not looking for someone who simply knows Photoshop. We want a designer with a portfolio that makes us want to hire them immediately.

***MUST HAVE**
1.) Real retail packaging experience that has gone to print
2.) Strong knowledge of dielines, bleeds, safe zones, spot colours and substrates
3.) Amazon listing and A+ Content experience
4.) Strong print-production knowledge: CMYK, Pantone, PDF/X and press-ready files
5.) Advanced Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign skills
6.) Excellent typography, layout and visual hierarchy
7.) Strong written English and ability to work independently

**BONUS/ NICE TO HAVE**
-After Effects / motion graphics
-Blender / Dimension / 3D
-Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion or similar
-Figma
-Medical or health product packaging experience
-FDA/regulatory labelling experience

***PLEASE ANSWER ALL THE FOUR QUESTIONS**
TAKE NOTE: Include the phrase "I Design For Production" of the first line your application. This tells us you've read the full listing.

IMPORTANT: Please include links to your portfolio or relevant work, along with your responses to the following questions:

QUESTION #1.) Show us two packaging project you're particularly proud of that went into physical production.
Please tell us:
-What was the product?
-What were the print specifications and constraints?
-What was your process from concept through final artwork?
-Did this product include any packaging inserts, user manuals, or multi-page guides?
-If so, show us how you prepared those layouts (e.g., using InDesign) for production.
-Can you show the physical printed product alongside your design?
**Share us the link of it. Actual printed products are strongly preferred over mockups.**

QUESTION #2.) Amazon Design Challenge
Choose one scenario:
*Option A: Our first aid kit's main Amazon image has a 3% click-through rate, compared with a category average of 4.5%. The current image is a straightforward product shot on white.
*Option B: We're launching a new luggage product and need seven Amazon listing images.
What would you change, and why? What would you A/B test first?
What would you put in each image slot, and why?

We're interested in your thinking, not just your final design.

QUESTION #3.) Two Very Different Brands:
SurviveX is medical/tactical: red, black, authoritative and confident.
Aerotrunk is modern, premium and aspirational, with a travel/lifestyle focus.

How would you design for two very different brands without making them feel like the work of the same brand?
Give us a specific technique, process or example from your experience.

QUESTION #4.) Your Tools & Workflow
-Tell us your complete design stack.
-Specifically for Adobe InDesign: How do you use it in your packaging workflow (e.g., product inserts, user guides, multi-page manuals, or style guides)?
--Figma: How do you incorporate Figma into your workflow (e.g., e-commerce asset planning, component libraries, UI/Shopify graphics, or collaborative layout)?
-Also tell us your typical turnaround time for creating a complete set of seven Amazon listing images, from brief to final delivery.

***SHORT-LISTED APPLICANTS WILL ADVANCED TO OUR PAID DESIGN TEST**
We believe the best way to evaluate a designer is to look at their actual work.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a paid design test ($100 USD) instead of going through multiple rounds of interviews.

The test will involve:
Redesigning three existing SurviveX Amazon listing images
Creating a front-and-back packaging insert based on a supplied dieline and brief
We'll provide the brand guidelines, existing assets and a clear brief.

We'll be evaluating: Design quality, Brand interpretation, Commercial thinking , Production readiness, Attention to detail, Turnaround speed

********WE OFFER THE BEST DEAL!!!********
SALARY: $2,000 USD/month
Paid biweekly via direct deposit.

13th Month Pay: Standard Philippine benefit.
Paid Time Off: Philippine holidays plus 15 days of personal leave.

Creative Ownership: You'll have genuine influence over how two growing brands look and communicate.
Small, Direct Team: You'll work closely with the founders without layers of middle management.
Room to Grow: As the brands grow, there's potential to progress into a Design Lead or Creative Director role.

***HOW TO APPLY***
Please include all of the following:
Answers to all four screening questions
The phrase "I design for production"
A link to your portfolio
At least two examples of physical product packaging you designed
Your expected rate and availability

Your portfolio can be on Behance, Dribbble, your own website, Google Drive or another platform. We care about the work, not where you host it.

**Applications without a portfolio or completed screening questions will not be reviewed.**
We aim to review applications within 48 hours. Shortlisted candidates will receive the paid design test within one week.

THANK YOU AND WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE YOUR APPLICATIONS!
