About the Role
We are looking for a performance-driven Google Ads Specialist to manage and scale paid search campaigns for home service businesses (roofing, plumbing, HVAC, pest control, electricians, etc.).
You will own campaign setup, optimization, reporting, and client performance communication.
This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and highly communicative.
Key Responsibilities
Account & Campaign Management
Set up and structure Google Ads accounts for new clients
Build and manage high-performing Search campaigns for home service businesses
Manage multiple ad accounts at the same time
Optimization & Growth
Conduct keyword research and continuous keyword refinement
Write and test ad copy using A/B testing
Optimize bids, budgets, match types, locations, schedules, and extensions
Improve lead quality, conversion rate, and ROAS
Monitoring & KPIs
Track daily performance and resolve issues quickly
Monitor CPL, conversions, CTR, Quality Score, and spend pacing
Ensure campaigns hit performance targets
Reporting & Insights
Deliver weekly performance reports with:
Key metrics
Insights
Clear action steps
Explain results and next steps clearly to the owner
Communication & Collaboration
Maintain consistent communication with the agency owner
Flag issues early and suggest solutions
Be available during business hours for updates, feedback, and strategy discussions
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience managing Google Ads for home service businesses
Proven results with lead generation campaigns
Strong understanding of:
Keyword research
Match types
Smart bidding
Location targeting
Conversion tracking
Excellent English (written and verbal)
Strong data analysis skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines independently
