About the Role
We are hiring an experienced GTM Engineer to design, build, and improve revenue systems for growing B2B companies.
You will work across CRM infrastructure, data enrichment, lead routing, buying signals, automation, AI workflows, integrations, and reporting.
This is a hands-on technical role. You should be comfortable taking a business problem from diagnosis through architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing improvement.
This is not a basic CRM administration, list-building, or Zapier support role.
What You’ll Do
- Audit client GTM stacks and identify technical bottlenecks
- Translate business requirements into technical system designs
- Build and improve CRM architecture in HubSpot and Salesforce
- Create enrichment, scoring, routing, and buying-signal workflows
- Connect tools using APIs, webhooks, native integrations, and automation platforms
- Build AI-powered research and operational workflows
- Clean, normalize, deduplicate, and synchronize GTM data
- Create lifecycle stages, ownership rules, and reporting systems
- Troubleshoot failed workflows and data-sync issues
- Test systems thoroughly before deployment
- Document architecture, workflows, dependencies, and maintenance procedures
- Estimate implementation effort, dependencies, risks, and technical requirements
- Communicate directly with founders, RevOps leaders, and GTM teams
- Manage multiple client projects while maintaining high-quality execution
Required Experience
You must have:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in GTM Engineering, RevOps, or a closely related technical GTM role
- Direct experience designing and building GTM systems, not only administering tools
- Strong experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or both
- Experience building advanced workflows in n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms
- Experience with enrichment platforms such as Clay, Apollo, Clearbit, ZoomInfo, or People Data Labs
- Strong knowledge of CRM objects, properties, associations, lifecycle stages, ownership, routing, and reporting
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and field mapping
- A strong understanding of B2B sales and marketing processes
- Excellent troubleshooting and systems-thinking skills
- Strong written and spoken English
- Experience owning projects from discovery through deployment
Certification Requirement
You MUST have hands-on GTM Engineering or RevOps experience and relevant professional certifications to apply.
Relevant certifications may include HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Zapier, Make, n8n, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, CRM administration, automation, data, or other closely related GTM systems certifications.
Certifications alone are not enough. You will be asked to demonstrate systems you personally designed and built.
Applicants without relevant experience, certifications, and examples of previous GTM systems work will not be considered.
Technical Skills
REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, OAuth, API keys, CRM object models, data transformation, field mapping, data validation, error handling, logging, monitoring, SQL fundamentals, JavaScript or Python fundamentals, Git or version control, workflow testing, quality assurance.
You do not need to be a full-stack software engineer, but you must be capable of building and troubleshooting solutions when native integrations are insufficient.
Tools You May Work With
HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Apollo, Clearbit, ZoomInfo, People Data Labs, n8n, Make, Zapier, Common Room, RB2B, Koala, Slack, ClickUp, Notion, PostHog, Google Sheets, Looker Studio.
You do not need experience with every tool, but you should be highly proficient across multiple parts of the modern GTM stack.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you should be able to:
- Independently audit a client’s GTM systems
- Convert an unclear business problem into a technical implementation plan
- Scope projects accurately
- Build reliable systems with minimal supervision
- Identify dependencies and edge cases before launch
- Test, deploy, monitor, and maintain workflows
- Produce clear client-facing documentation
- Communicate directly with clients
- Manage multiple client environments
- Flag technical risks and scope issues early
- Deliver systems that solve real business problems
You’ll Be a Strong Fit If You
- Think in systems rather than isolated tasks
- Understand both business needs and technical requirements
- Move quickly without shipping careless work
- Are comfortable working with ambiguity
- Communicate clearly with nontechnical stakeholders
- Take ownership of outcomes
- Document your work thoroughly
- Know when to challenge a poorly designed request
- Work independently while keeping the team informed
- Care about reliability, maintainability, and data quality
This Role Is Not a Fit If
- Your experience is limited to basic Zapier automations
- You have only performed CRM administration
- You primarily build lead lists or manage cold
- You require detailed instructions for every implementation
- You cannot work with APIs or troubleshoot integrations
- You have no client-facing experience
- You cannot provide examples of systems you personally built
