# Senior Credit Repair Specialist / Dispute & Client Progress Manager
**Company:** Opulent Credit
**Position:** Remote Credit Repair Specialist
**Experience Level:** Experienced — NOT Entry Level
**Employment:** Part-Time to Start, With Opportunity to Grow
**Industry:** Credit Repair / Consumer Credit / Financial Services
## ABOUT OPULENT CREDIT
Opulent Credit is a growing U.S.-based credit restoration and financial services company.
We are looking for an experienced, **RESULTS-DRIVEN Credit Repair Specialist** who can take ownership of the backend credit repair process and help us deliver an organized, professional, results-focused experience for every client.
This is NOT simply a data-entry or letter-generation position.
We need someone who understands credit reports, dispute processing, client file management, documentation, follow-up cycles, and progress tracking — and who can manage client accounts with minimal supervision.
## RESULTS MATTER HERE
We are specifically looking for a **results-driven specialist**.
Our clients hire us because they want meaningful improvement in their credit profiles. When inaccurate, incomplete, unverifiable, duplicate, outdated, or otherwise legitimately disputable negative information is reporting, we expect our specialist to pursue the appropriate correction or deletion diligently and professionally.
**We do not guarantee deletions.**
We do not expect you to dispute accurate information without a legitimate basis, fabricate claims, misuse identity-theft procedures, or promise outcomes that cannot legally or ethically be guaranteed.
However, when a client is **rightfully owed a correction or deletion**, we expect you to know how to identify the issue, build the appropriate dispute strategy, provide supporting documentation when available, follow up correctly, evaluate the response, and continue pursuing legitimate remedies when warranted.
Simply sending a dispute and waiting is **not enough**.
We want someone who asks:
- Why did this item remain?
- Was the dispute sufficiently specific?
- What documentation supports the client's position?
- What exactly did the bureau or furnisher investigate?
- Did the information change?
- Is the reporting now accurate and complete?
- Is an additional legitimate dispute warranted?
- Should the matter be escalated through another appropriate channel?
- What is the strongest compliant next step for this client?
You should be **persistent without being reckless**.
We want measurable results — including legitimate deletions, corrections, updated account information, removal of inaccurate personal information, resolution of reporting errors, and documented improvement across client files.
## YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
Your job is to keep every Opulent Credit client moving forward.
You should know:
- What stage every client is currently in
- What has already been disputed
- What changed on each bureau
- What was deleted, corrected, verified, or remains unresolved
- When the next action is due
- What strategy should be used next
- What documents or information are still needed
- Which cases require management attention
No client should ever sit untouched because their file was forgotten.
## CREDIT REPORT ANALYSIS
You will review and analyze consumer credit reports from:
- Experian
- Equifax
- TransUnion
You must be able to identify potentially:
- Inaccurate information
- Incomplete information
- Duplicate reporting
- Incorrect balances
- Incorrect account statuses
- Incorrect payment histories
- Incorrect dates
- Incorrect personal information
- Mixed-file information
- Unauthorized or questionable inquiries
- Collections
- Charge-offs
- Late payments
- Repossessions
- Bankruptcies
- Other potentially disputable reporting issues
You must understand the difference between legitimately disputable information and accurate information that should not be misrepresented as inaccurate.
## DISPUTE PROCESSING
You will be responsible for managing dispute cycles from beginning to end.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing each client's complete credit profile
- Developing an appropriate dispute strategy based on the client's actual report
- Preparing accurate and individualized disputes
- Processing bureau disputes
- Preparing appropriate furnisher/creditor disputes when applicable
- Managing personal-information disputes
- Uploading supporting documentation
- Maintaining copies of correspondence
- Tracking dispute submission dates
- Tracking expected response dates
- Reviewing bureau and furnisher responses
- Determining appropriate next steps
- Preparing subsequent dispute rounds when warranted
- Preventing unnecessary duplicate or repetitive disputes
- Escalating unusual or complicated cases to management
We do NOT want someone blindly generating the same dispute letter for every client.
Every client file must be reviewed individually.
## KNOWLEDGE EXPECTATIONS
You should have practical working knowledge of credit reporting and consumer protection requirements, including:
- Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
- Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- FACTA
- Consumer reporting agency dispute procedures
- Furnisher dispute procedures
- Reasonable investigation requirements
- Reinvestigation procedures
- Maximum possible accuracy principles
- Identity theft procedures
- Debt validation concepts
- Credit reporting timelines
- Deletion/reinsertion procedures
- CFPB complaint procedures
- Metro 2 reporting concepts
You do NOT need to be an attorney.
However, you must understand how these laws and standards affect legitimate credit reporting disputes and know when something should be escalated rather than making unsupported legal claims.
## CLIENT FILE MANAGEMENT
Organization is extremely important.
Every client file should contain clear documentation showing:
- Current credit profile
- Original negative items
- Current negative items
- Dispute history
- Dispute dates
- Dispute rounds
- Letters/documents submitted
- Bureau responses
- Creditor/furnisher responses
- Items deleted
- Items corrected
- Items verified
- Items remaining
- New negative items
- Score changes when available
- Required client documents
- Next recommended action
- Next follow-up date
Someone should be able to open a client's account and immediately understand exactly what has happened with that client.
## CLIENT PROGRESS REPORTING
This is one of the MOST IMPORTANT parts of this position.
Management must have visibility into the entire client base.
You will provide regular progress reports showing each client's status.
Reports should include:
**Client Name**
**Current Dispute Round**
**Date Last Action Was Taken**
**Bureaus Worked**
**Items Challenged**
**Items Deleted/Corrected**
**Items Remaining**
**Score Changes, If Available**
**Responses Received**
**Current Status**
**Next Recommended Action**
**Next Action Date**
**Documents Needed From Client**
**Issues / Escalations / Notes**
We expect proactive reporting.
Management should NOT have to repeatedly ask:
"What's going on with this client?"
You should already know.
## WEEKLY OPERATIONS REPORT
You will also provide management with a weekly overview containing:
- Total active clients
- Clients currently in active dispute cycles
- New clients onboarded
- Disputes completed that week
- Bureau/furnisher responses received
- Total deletions/corrections recorded
- Clients awaiting responses
- Clients requiring another dispute round
- Clients waiting on documentation
- Stalled or problematic accounts
- Accounts requiring management attention
- Upcoming deadlines/actions
Accuracy is more important than making numbers look impressive.
## CLIENT ONBOARDING & QUALITY CONTROL
For new clients, you may be responsible for:
- Reviewing onboarding information
- Verifying required documents are present
- Confirming credit monitoring/report access
- Organizing client documentation
- Completing an initial credit audit
- Recording baseline credit information
- Identifying initial dispute opportunities
- Creating the initial case strategy
- Flagging missing or conflicting information before processing
Before anything is submitted, you are expected to perform quality control.
Names, addresses, account numbers, bureaus, dates, documents, and dispute reasons must be checked for accuracy.
## SOFTWARE
Experience with credit repair platforms is strongly preferred.
Experience with any of the following is valuable:
- DisputeFox
- Credit Repair Cloud
- Dispute Panda
- Client Dispute Manager
- GoHighLevel or other CRM platforms
- Credit monitoring/report platforms
- Google Sheets / Excel
- Google Drive
- Project-management systems
If you have experience with DisputeFox specifically, please mention it prominently in your application.
## DATA SECURITY & CONFIDENTIALITY
You will work with sensitive consumer information.
You must:
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Follow company security procedures
- Never download or share client information unnecessarily
- Never use client information outside authorized company systems
- Protect passwords and account credentials
- Immediately report suspected security issues
- Follow company policies regarding access to client data
Discretion and trustworthiness are mandatory.
## PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
We are looking for someone who is:
- **Results-driven**
- Extremely organized
- Detail-oriented
- Persistent
- Resourceful
- Reliable
- Proactive
- Analytical
- Consistent
- Deadline-driven
- Comfortable managing multiple client files
- Able to work independently
- Able to communicate problems before they become emergencies
We are not measuring performance solely by the number of letters sent.
We care about **case progression, legitimate deletions and corrections, accuracy, proper follow-up, documentation quality, turnaround time, and keeping clients moving toward the strongest credit profile legitimately available to them.**
You should be capable of managing a growing client caseload without allowing quality to decline.
## REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Applicants should have:
- 2+ years of hands-on credit repair/dispute processing experience preferred
- Experience analyzing all three major credit bureaus
- Experience managing multiple client dispute cycles
- Experience reviewing bureau responses
- Experience tracking deletions, corrections, and account changes
- Strong understanding of FCRA/FDCPA and credit reporting procedures
- Excellent written English
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable computer and internet connection
This is NOT an entry-level position.
We prefer someone who can enter the company and contribute quickly rather than requiring extensive training on basic credit repair.
## BONUS EXPERIENCE
Strong candidates may also have experience with:
- CFPB complaints
- Furnisher disputes
- Identity theft documentation
- Secondary consumer reporting agencies
- LexisNexis
- Innovis
- SageStream
- CoreLogic
- Advanced credit report auditing
- Funding-readiness credit analysis
- Business credit
- Credit optimization
## WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
A successful Credit Repair Specialist at Opulent Credit makes our backend run smoothly.
Client files are organized.
Disputes go out on schedule.
Responses are reviewed promptly.
Results are documented.
**Legitimate opportunities for deletions and corrections are pursued thoroughly.**
When the first attempt does not resolve a legitimate reporting issue, the specialist analyzes why and determines the appropriate next step rather than simply giving up.
Next actions are already planned.
Management always knows where clients stand.
Clients don't fall through the cracks.
And as our client base grows, our operational quality grows with it.
## HOW TO APPLY
Please send:
1. Your resume/CV
2. Number of years working specifically in credit repair
3. Credit repair software you have used
4. Approximate number of client files you have managed simultaneously
5. A description of your normal dispute workflow from onboarding through subsequent rounds
6. A sample of how you track/report client progress
7. Examples of legitimate deletions/corrections you have achieved, with ALL consumer personal information removed/redacted
8. Your experience with FCRA, FDCPA, Metro 2 concepts, CFPB complaints, and furnisher disputes
9. Your expected hourly/monthly compensation
10. Your weekly availability
**IMPORTANT APPLICATION TEST:**
At the very top of your application, write:
**OPULENT STANDARD**
Then answer this scenario:
*A client's first dispute round has returned. Two accounts were deleted, one account was corrected, three accounts were verified with no changes, and one bureau has not yet responded.*
Briefly explain:
- What you would document
- What you would report to management
- What you would review before determining the next action
- How you would approach the three verified accounts
- How you would make sure this client does not fall through the cracks
Applications that do not follow these instructions may not be considered.
We are looking for a **long-term, results-driven team member** who wants to grow with the company — not someone looking to complete the bare minimum.
