JOB OVERVIEW

Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on Direct Response Copywriter with strong creative-strategy skills to support a fast-growing DTC brand.
The role can begin as a fractional engagement, with the potential to develop into a long-term full-time contract.

What You’ll Own
- Conduct customer, competitor and market research to uncover strong insights, angles and messaging opportunities.
- Write high-converting Meta ad scripts, advertorials, VSLs and landing-page copy.
- Develop hooks, leads, big ideas, mechanisms, proof structures and messaging variations.
- Maintain strong message continuity from the ad through the advertorial, VSL or landing page.
- Collaborate with Creative Strategists, editors, designers, media buyers and CRO.
- Review performance and use the results to improve, iterate or expand winning copy.

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of direct-response copywriting experience for DTC or e-commerce brands.
- Proven experience writing copy for cold traffic, particularly Meta.
- Strong customer-research, persuasion and storytelling skills.
- Ability to develop angles and copy independently rather than only executing pre-written directions.
- Experience with beauty, skincare, personal care, health or wellness is strongly preferred.
- Experience writing advertorials, VSLs and landing pages that have performed at meaningful scale.

How to apply (Please answer below questions, otherwise will be ignored):
- Please send over your portfolio
- Your years of experience in copywriting
- Have your built the full funnel before
- Whether you normally develop the research, angle and structure independently or work from directions provided by a Creative Strategist or Copy Chief
- Have you written for any beauty, skincare, personal care, wellness or mature-female audiences? If yes, which brands and products?
- What types of copy do you personally write most often? For example: Meta ad copy, video ad scripts, landing pages, advertorials, product pages, email/SMS or upsells. Which of these can you confidently own from research through final copy?
- For a single account where your copy was actively used, what was the highest monthly Meta ad spend? What copy did you personally contribute, and were any results or winning creatives directly attributed to your work?
- Are you looking for full-time or fractional job? Are you working with any client now?
- Your availability, preferred fractional or full-time arrangement, realistic monthly capacity and expected monthly retainer.
