The role
The Content Marketing Writer owns our written content across the full marketing surface — website pages, blog articles and SEO content, brochures and sell sheets, ebooks and guides. This person writes independently, at volume, moving fluidly between a snappy product page and a sixty-page guide while holding our established house voice on every piece. The work has to be technically credible to an industrial B2B audience and disciplined enough to move buyers through a considered, multi-stakeholder sales cycle.
What you'll do
* Write and maintain website copy — product pages, landing pages, feature descriptions — that is clear, on-brand, and built to convert.
* Produce blog and SEO content — pillar pages, comparison articles, category explainers — that ranks in search and reads like it came from a genuine practitioner.
* Create sales and marketing collateral — brochures, sell sheets, spec sheets, one-pagers — in our brand style, translating product capabilities into buyer-facing value.
* Author long-form assets — ebooks, definitive guides, and downloadable resources that serve as gated lead magnets and establish our authority.
* Tailor messaging across three core audiences — Shopify merchants, industrial distributors, and Adobe Commerce / Magento merchants — each with distinct pains and vocabulary.
* Hold the house voice with precision: third-person observed-reality perspective, no second-person "you/your," no "it's not X, it's Y" constructions, problem-agitate-solution structure.
* Partner with product marketing to turn positioning and launches into published content on a predictable cadence.
* Maintain an editorial calendar and ship consistently rather than in bursts.
What you bring
* 3+ years writing B2B content, ideally for SaaS, technical, or industrial audiences.
* A portfolio showing range across formats — website copy, SEO articles, and at least one long-form asset (ebook, guide, or brochure suite).
* Fluency (or demonstrated fast-ramp ability) in technical and industrial subject matter; you're not intimidated by product data, distribution, or supply-chain concepts.
* Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: search intent, keyword structure, on-page optimization, and how content earns rankings.
* The discipline to write inside a defined style guide without drifting, and to take editorial feedback without ego.
* Self-direction — handed a topic and a brief, you return a finished, on-voice draft.
Nice to have
Experience marketing PIM, DAM, e-commerce, ERP, or adjacent B2B software.
Familiarity with industrial distribution, manufacturing, or wholesale.
Comfort writing about AI and emerging technical concepts (MCP, agentic workflows) for a business audience.
Basic facility with a CMS and light HTML.
What success looks like
In the first 90 days, this person is independently shipping publish-ready content across formats — website, blog, and collateral — holds the house voice without heavy editing, has a first ebook or guide underway, and has taken the content engine off the founder's desk.
