About Parliament Constructions / Performance Windows

Parliament Constructions and Performance Windows are Canberra-based Australian businesses delivering carpentry, fitouts, window fabrication, and construction packages across residential and commercial projects.

We work closely with builders on tenders and live projects and are looking for a hands-on Senior Construction Estimator to take ownership of estimating and take-offs across our carpentry and fitout scopes.

This Is Not a One-Off Project

This is a long-term, full-time role supporting our estimating function. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, detailed estimates for builder tenders and ongoing projects.

This is not just data entry — we are looking for someone who understands construction and can think through a job properly.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Preparing detailed take-offs and cost estimates using Buildsoft Cubit
• Reviewing architectural and structural drawings
• Pricing carpentry, fitout, and construction scopes
• Assisting with builder tender submissions
• Reviewing project specifications and identifying missing details
• Liaising with our Australian team for clarifications
• Supporting general estimating admin and documentation

Higher-Level Responsibilities
• Reviewing estimates for accuracy and completeness
• Identifying cost risks and opportunities within projects
• Assisting in refining estimating processes and systems
• Supporting project handover from estimating to delivery

You Must Have
• Strong experience using Buildsoft Cubit — essential
• Experience estimating carpentry, fitout, or construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• AutoCAD experience required
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Good written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Highly Regarded (Bonus)
• Experience working on Australian builder tenders
• Experience in commercial fitouts or residential construction
• Understanding of construction sequencing and buildability

Hours & Timezone

This is a full-time ongoing role, working Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (Philippines time aligned with Australia).
