JOB OVERVIEW

About Prodigy Media

Prodigy Media is an established e-commerce company with over a decade of experience developing, launching, and scaling private-label brands, primarily on Amazon USA.

We manage a diverse portfolio of brands across multiple categories and are looking for an experienced Senior Amazon Brand Manager to take ownership of brand performance, identify growth opportunities, and lead day-to-day execution.

We're looking for someone with extensive Amazon marketplace experience who understands how to grow brands, improve profitability, launch products successfully, and coordinate teams to get results.

This is a senior-level position for someone who can think strategically, solve problems independently, and take ownership of performance.

We're also embracing modern AI tools to help our team work smarter, faster, and more efficiently. Experience with Claude, Codex, or automation tools is highly valued, but strong Amazon brand management experience is our number one priority.

Key Responsibilities

1. Amazon Brand Management & Growth
You'll be responsible for overseeing and improving the performance of assigned Amazon private-label brands.
Manage multiple Amazon brands and product portfolios.
Analyze sales, profitability, organic rankings, conversion rates, traffic, and advertising performance.
Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, and grow market share.
Develop and execute strategies to improve underperforming products.
Oversee listing optimization, SEO, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and conversion improvements.
Conduct competitive analysis and identify market opportunities.
Monitor inventory-related issues that affect sales and performance.
Develop clear short-term and long-term growth strategies for assigned brands.
Our expectation: You don't just maintain Amazon listings. You actively manage and grow the business.

2. Data Analysis, Problem Solving & Execution

Strong analytical skills are essential, but identifying problems is only the beginning.
We're looking for someone who can:
Analyze data to identify declining sales, poor conversion rates, advertising inefficiencies, and other performance issues.
Investigate the underlying causes rather than simply reporting numbers.
Develop practical solutions supported by research and data.
Implement corrective actions and coordinate the necessary resources.
Monitor results and continuously improve strategies.
Take responsibility for resolving issues from beginning to end.
We don't need someone who simply tells us what's wrong. We need someone who knows how to fix it and takes action.

3. Amazon Product Launches

You must have direct, hands-on experience launching private-label products on Amazon.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting product and competitor research.
Performing keyword research and analyzing market opportunities.
Developing product launch strategies, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinating product photography, listing content, A+ Content, and launch assets.
Working with PPC specialists on launch campaigns and advertising strategies.
Planning compliant product review acquisition strategies.
Coordinating inventory readiness and launch schedules.
Monitoring launch performance and optimizing strategies to improve rankings, conversions, and sales.
You should understand the complete Amazon launch process, from preparation to successful market entry and continued growth.

4. Team Coordination & Project Management

You'll work directly with our PPC specialists, graphic designers, and operations team to ensure brand initiatives are completed effectively.
Coordinate PPC strategies and campaign priorities with advertising specialists.
Work closely with graphic designers to develop listing images, A+ Content, advertising creatives, and product videos.
Assign projects, set clear priorities, and establish realistic due dates.
Manage multiple ongoing projects and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
Review creative assets and campaign initiatives to ensure they support brand objectives.
Identify bottlenecks and resolve delays before they affect performance.
Maintain accountability and clear communication across teams.
Use project management systems to organize assignments, responsibilities, and deadlines.
You must be comfortable leading execution, making decisions, and ensuring that important work gets completed without constant supervision.

5. External Marketing & Brand Development

While Amazon is our main sales channel, we also want to expand our brand presence and customer acquisition efforts beyond Amazon.
Experience or familiarity with the following is valuable:

Facebook
and Instagram advertising.
TikTok marketing and short-form video content.
Influencer marketing and UGC creators.
External traffic strategies that drive customers to Amazon.
Affiliate marketing and customer acquisition campaigns.
Shopify and direct-to-consumer marketing.
We're looking for someone who understands how to use outside marketing channels to build brand awareness and support Amazon sales growth.

6. AI Tools, Automation & Operational Improvements

We're continuously improving our business through AI and modern technology.
While this is not a software development position, we value Amazon professionals who are comfortable using AI to improve their productivity and solve business problems.
Experience with the following is a strong advantage:
Claude and Claude Code.
OpenAI Codex and ChatGPT.
AI-assisted Amazon research, analytics, and reporting.
Automating repetitive business tasks and workflows.
Building or customizing simple internal tools using AI.
We especially value people who are willing to invest time in exploring AI-powered applications or automations that eliminate operational bottlenecks and help the company operate more efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:
At least 4 years of proven Amazon brand management experience, preferably managing US private-label brands.
Demonstrated experience growing Amazon sales and improving brand performance.
Direct experience successfully launching new products on Amazon.
Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Amazon SEO, listing optimization, and advertising fundamentals.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insights into practical solutions.
Experience coordinating with PPC specialists, graphic designers, and other team members.
Excellent project management skills, including assigning priorities and meeting deadlines.
Good understanding of Amazon profitability, margins, conversion rates, and organic rankings.
Familiarity with external marketing strategies.
Strong English communication and independent problem-solving skills.

Highly Preferred:

Experience managing multiple Amazon brands simultaneously.
Advanced knowledge of Data Dive, Helium 10, and Amazon Brand Analytics.
Experience with Meta, TikTok, influencer marketing, or UGC campaigns.
Practical experience using Claude, Codex, and other AI tools.
Experience creating automations, dashboards, or simple internal business applications.
Familiarity with ClickUp, Notion, and workflow management systems.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a proactive, results-driven Amazon professional who:
Understands what drives profitable Amazon brand growth.
Can manage multiple brands and identify the right priorities.
Takes ownership of problems and follows through until they're resolved.
Works effectively with PPC specialists and graphic designers.
Can independently coordinate projects, deadlines, and resources.
Is constantly looking for opportunities to improve business performance.
Is open to adopting AI tools and developing more efficient systems.

As an experienced Amazon Brand Manager first, with a strong interest in using technology to become even more effective.

What Success Looks Like
During your first 90 days, we expect you to:
Develop a clear understanding of your assigned brands and their performance.
Identify the biggest opportunities to improve sales, profitability, and conversion rates.
Create actionable growth plans with measurable objectives.
Resolve high-priority issues affecting brand performance.
Establish effective coordination with PPC specialists and graphic designers.
Improve project accountability and timely delivery of creative and marketing initiatives.
Demonstrate strong ownership, independent decision-making, and measurable progress.
Identify opportunities where AI tools or automation could make existing workflows more efficient.

Most importantly, you take ownership of the results.

If this sounds like you and you would like to apply. Please send your resume directly to myself with the subject line : SBM with Passion for AI
