We are a fast-growing DTC supplement brand looking for an experienced Backend Manager to oversee and optimize all backend operations. This is not just LTV and retention — this role owns customer service, supply chain, finance, subscriptions, retention, and operational infrastructure.
You must have hands-on experience working with large, well-known supplement brands and understand how backend systems scale profitably.
This is a high ownership role where you manage the entire backend engine of the company.
Responsibilities

Manage CS team & performance

Reduce refunds & chargebacks
Build retention-focused cancellation flows
Create SOPs for support team
Implement save offers & rebill retention
Improve customer satisfaction & retention
Retention & LTV
Improve customer lifetime value
Reduce churn
Optimize subscription flows
Build cancel-save flows
Optimize rebill sequences
Winback campaigns
Post-purchase upsells
Supply Chain & Fulfillment
Work with manufacturers & suppliers
Improve shipping times
Reduce fulfillment errors
Manage inventory planning
Prevent stockouts
Improve COGS & margins
Coordinate 3PL / fulfillment partners
Finance & Profitability
Monitor margins & profitability
Track CAC vs LTV
Monitor refund rate
Analyze backend revenue

Optimize subscription platform (Loop / Recharge / Skio)

Requirements (Must Have)
Experience working with large DTC supplement brands
