About our company
We are a multiple award-winning provider of training in sales, customer service and leadership for businesses. Our primary client base over 23 years has been in the UK luxury retail industry, but we’ve trained in other B2C industries such as contact centres, travel, estate agency and others.
About the role
We are looking for a senior/experienced B2B caller who is confident to engage directly with business owners, senior people and decision-makers. This role will focus on researching companies, building prospect lists, creating an effective pipeline and making outbound calls to secure qualified appointments for our Managing Director. It is an appointment-setting role and not a closing position.
The role will focus primarily on the UK market, but will also involve reaching out to other potential markets such as the US and the Philippines.
Key responsibilities
-Researching companies that match our ideal customer profile
-Identifying key decision-makers, to build an accurate prospect list
-Cold calling prospects: Business Owners, Sales Directors, Head of Learning and Development
-Making outbound calls as a follow up after
-Engaging decision-makers during calls and introducing our services
-Booking qualified appointments for our Managing Director
-Keeping CRM and records up to date with accurate notes and outcomes
-Communicating with the team about updates, progress, challenges and ideas
What we are looking for
-Proven track record of selling or setting appointments for UK or western markets
-Essential to have B2B selling experience (not just B2C)
-Excellent spoken and written English
-Ability to speak with senior people and decision-makers
-A professional, warm approach, with good conversation control
-Confidence, resourcefulness and resilience to handle objections
-Expertise of CRM systems
-Motivation, good self-management and a results-driven focus
Extra experience that’s a bonus
-Expertise in these industries: Luxury, Retail, Hospitality or Contact centres
-Experience of selling within the Philippines contact centre industry
-Selling training in sales, management or customer service
