JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Amazon PPC specialist to take strategic ownership of advertising for two established Amazon brands.

This is not a general virtual-assistant position or simply a bid-adjustment role. We already use Perpetua for automation. We need someone who can analyze the business behind the data, identify problems proactively, protect profitability, and develop growth opportunities.

The right person must be able to explain clearly:

What is happening in the accounts
Which products are improving or deteriorating
Where advertising is losing money
How PPC is affecting total sales and organic performance
What actions should be taken and why
Whether previous actions produced the intended results

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display
Review and manage Perpetua goals, target ACoS settings, budgets, and campaign structure
Analyze PPC sales, total sales, ACoS, TACOS, conversion, and profitability by product
Proactively identify wasted spending and urgent problems
Develop growth plans for priority products
Track important keywords and changes in organic ranking
Evaluate whether advertising is creating incremental growth or capturing existing sales
Provide a concise weekly owner-level report with findings, actions, results, and recommendations
Escalate urgent issues promptly
Maintain an accurate record of work performed and actual time spent

REQUIREMENTS

At least three years of hands-on Amazon PPC management experience
Recent hands-on experience with Perpetua is strongly preferred. Applicants whose primary experience is with a comparable Amazon PPC automation platform must clearly explain their Perpetua experience, if any
Strong knowledge of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display
Experience managing established Amazon brands, not only product launches
Strong understanding of ACoS, TACOS, contribution margin, conversion, keyword ranking, and organic sales
Proactive judgment and accountability
Clear spoken and written English
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Availability for one short weekly meeting during New York business hours

HOURS AND COMPENSATION

Approximately 5–7 hours per week initially, depending on account needs and authorized work
Twenty paid hours per month during the initial trial, provided the agreed work and reporting are completed
Up to thirty hours may be authorized during the first month for account analysis and setup
Expected compensation: $8–$12 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability
We are willing to pay more for a genuinely senior expert with strong, recent Perpetua experience and proven strategic ability
Please state your normal hourly rate in your application
Long-term opportunity if the trial is successful
All hours must be recorded with a brief description of the work performed

HOW TO APPLY

Begin your application with the words “PROFITABLE PPC.”

Please provide:

A brief description of your recent hands-on experience with Perpetua. Explain what settings, goals, budgets, or strategic decisions you personally managed.
One specific, anonymized example of an Amazon PPC problem you discovered proactively. Include the relevant numbers, what you changed, and the result.
Your requested hourly rate, desired weekly hours, and availability for meetings during New York business hours.
An anonymized example of a weekly PPC report you personally prepared for a business owner, if available.
A three-to-five-minute Loom video responding to the following situation:

One product has maintained a TACOS of approximately 70% for several weeks, while the rest of the brand has a TACOS below 10%. Explain what you would investigate first and how you would d ---------- whether to reduce, restructure, or pause its advertising.

Please do not create slides or read a prepared script. Speak naturally, as though you were explaining the situation to the business owner during a call. We are evaluating both your PPC reasoning and your ability to communicate clearly.

Candidates selected for the next stage will receive a small paid analytical assignment using exported account data. Account credentials will not be provided for the initial assignment.
