JOB OVERVIEW

Amzsparks islooking for a Senior Amazon Catalog Lead to take ownership of our Catalog Department while remaining actively involved in day-to-day catalog execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role. Approximately 60–70% of your time will be spent executing advanced catalog tasks, while the remaining time will be focused on task delegation, quality assurance, client communication, reporting, and improving the overall performance of the Catalog Department

We're looking for someone who can lead by example—not just assign work.

Key Responsibilities 1. Catalog Execution (Primary Responsibility)
You will personally handle complex Amazon catalog tasks including:

Listing Creation & Optimization
Parent-Child Variations
Flat Files
Category Listing Reports
Browse Node Updates
Backend Search Terms
Listing Suppression Fixes
Brand Registry Issues
Compliance Issues
Error Resolution
Case Management
Contribution Conflicts
Inventory File Management
A+ Content Coordination
Listing Audits
Catalog Health Improvements
You should be comfortable solving complex catalog issues independently.

2. Team Leadership & Task Management
You'll be responsible for ensuring the Catalog Department runs efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

Assign daily and weekly tasks to Catalog Specialists
Monitor workload and deadlines
Review work quality before delivery where required
Support tea ---------- mbers with complex issues
Train and mentor junior catalog specialists
Ensure accountability across the department
Improve collaboration within the catalog team
3. Client Communication & Reporting
You'll regularly communicate with both internal and external stakeholders by:

Joining client meetings when required
Explaining catalog issues and proposed solutions
Providing progress updates to clients and the Founder
Coordinating with Account Managers and PPC Managers
Recording Loom updates when necessary
Building trust through proactive communication
Excellent spoken and written English is essential.

4. Department Ownership
You'll take ownership of the Catalog Department by:

Ensuring tasks are delivered on time
Maintaining high quality standards
Improving SOPs and workflows
Identifying process improvements
Reducing recurring errors
Supporting hiring and onboarding when required
Helping build a scalable catalog operation.
You should be comfortable:

Leading by example
Taking ownership
Solving complex catalog issues
Supporting tea ---------- mbers
Communicating directly with clients
Making operational decisions
Being accountable for the department's overall performance
