### **Role Summary**
The Senior Accountant & Bookkeeper will oversee full-charge accounting functions for multiple companies using QuickBooks. You will be responsible for accurate monthly reconciliations, preparing detailed financial reports, tracking performance through key KPIs, and ensuring our accounting operations align with best practices and compliance standards.

### **Key Responsibilities**
* Maintain and manage **QuickBooks accounting systems** for multiple entities
* Perform **monthly reconciliations** of all bank, credit card, and liability accounts
* Prepare and present **monthly financial reports** including balance sheet, P\&L, and cash flow statements
* Provide **KPI reporting** for each company (e.g., gross margin, revenue per case, client conversion, etc.)
* Identify trends and provide strategic insights based on financial performance
* Oversee payroll entries, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger accuracy
* Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and categorized
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing
* Liaise with external CPAs or tax advisors as needed

### **Required Qualifications**
* **QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor (Online and/or Desktop)**
* Minimum **5 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience**, preferably in multi-entity environments
* Strong understanding of GAAP and monthly close processes
* Demonstrated experience with **KPI development and reporting**
* Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, etc.)
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information

* Experience in service-based industries or funeral/home-care sectors a plus
