JOB OVERVIEW

Senior Australian Accountant (Philippines-Based | Remote)

Grey Space Advisory is a fast-growing Australian accounting firm working with business owners doing $1m–$20m+ in turnover. We’re building a long-term offshore team in the Philippines and are looking for a Senior Accountant who already understands Australian compliance and can hit the ground running.

This is not an entry-level role. We want someone experienced, sharp, and reliable.

The Role

You’ll work directly with our Australian team across compliance and core accounting work, including:

Preparation of Australian tax returns (companies, trusts, individuals)

BAS & IAS preparation and lodgement support

Year-end financials and reconciliations

Working with clean, systemised workflows (no chaos)

Ongoing support for Australian clients

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Minimum 4 years Australian accounting experience

Strong working knowledge of Xero

Hands-on experience with Australian tax & compliance

Excellent written and spoken English

Able to work Australian business hours (or close to)

Bonus (Nice to Have)

Experience using KarbonHQ

Prior experience working with Australian accounting firms

Exposure to management reporting or advisory support
