Our mission is to create highly engaging content that reaches millions of viewers across YouTube and other digital platforms. We're looking for a creative and analytical Scriptwriter to help produce compelling videos for the BlooGaming YouTube channel.

The Role

As a YouTube Scriptwriter, you'll be responsible for creating engaging, high-retention scripts that keep viewers watching from beginning to end. You'll work closely with our Quality Lead to refine each script, ensuring every video is optimized for audience retention, pacing, and storytelling.

This role is ideal for someone who understands what makes YouTube content successful and enjoys turning ideas into entertaining, fast-paced narratives.

Responsibilities

Write one to two high-quality YouTube scripts for the BlooGaming channel each day.

Collaborate closely with the Quality Lead to revise and improve scripts until they meet our quality and retention standards.

Use Google Docs to draft, edit, and collaborate on scripts.

Analyze YouTube Studio data to understand viewer behavior and apply insights to improve future content.

Continuously improve script structure, pacing, hooks, and storytelling based on performance metrics.

Brainstorm fresh video ideas and creative story progressions that keep viewers engaged throughout each video.

Stay up to date with YouTube trends, storytelling techniques, and audience retention strategies.

Requirements

Excellent written and spoken English.

Proven experience writing YouTube scripts or similar long-form digital content.

Strong understanding of YouTube audience retention, viewer psychology, pacing, and storytelling.

Ability to analyze YouTube Studio analytics and translate insights into better-performing scripts.

Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging narratives and keep viewers invested throughout a video.

Ability to receive feedback and revise scripts efficiently.

Highly organized with excellent time management skills.

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while meeting daily deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience writing gaming-related content.

Experience working with YouTube creators or digital media companies.

Knowledge of Minecraft or gaming content is a plus.

Familiarity with YouTube trends, analytics, and content optimization.
