About the Role
Will consider both part-time and full time applicants.
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce applications that integrate with third-party systems. This role is highly technical and hands-on, focused on creating scalable, secure, and well-architected solutions that extend Salesforce beyond its core capabilities.
You will work closely with stakeholders, architects, and integration partners to translate business requirements into high-quality Salesforce applications and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using REST, SOAP, and event-based architectures
Develop managed or unmanaged packages as needed to support reusable application components
Implement authentication and security best practices, including OAuth and named credentials
Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability
Write clean, testable code with appropriate unit test coverage
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues
Collaborate with solution architects, admins, and business stakeholders to refine technical requirements
Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and integration best practices
Required Qualifications
Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (required)
3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
Strong proficiency in:
Apex (including asynchronous processing)
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Platform Events)
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (ERP, marketing platforms, data warehouses, or custom applications)
Solid understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and governor limits
Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD processes
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building or supporting managed packages
Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato)
Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or event-driven architectures
Knowledge of OAuth flows and external identity providers
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
