JOB OVERVIEW

Salesforce Developer / Automation Engineer

Remote contractor | Philippines | 20+ hours/week | $18-$30/hour

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce developer to improve and automate business processes in a complex production Salesforce environment.

This is not an entry-level Salesforce role and not a general AI automation role. We need someone who has personally built, tested, deployed, and supported Salesforce solutions in production.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

- Automating Salesforce opportunity audits and data-quality checks
- Improving sales and RevOps workflows
- Building guided workflows, validations, exception reporting, and internal tools
- Simplifying existing Salesforce processes and user experiences
- Integrating Salesforce with APIs, automation platforms, and internal systems
- Connecting AI-enabled workflows to Salesforce where useful
- Debugging and improving existing Salesforce implementations

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong Salesforce Sales Cloud experience
- Apex
- Salesforce Flow
- SOQL / SOSL
- Triggers, validation rules, formulas, and custom objects
- REST APIs, OAuth, JSON, and integrations
- Sandboxes, testing, deployment, and production change management
- Permissions, roles, sharing, and access controls
- Experience debugging and modifying existing Salesforce systems
- Git/version control
- Strong written and spoken English

STRONGLY PREFERRED

- Lightning Web Components
- Salesforce CLI and CI/CD
- Revenue Operations / Sales Operations experience
- Opportunity, quoting, contracting, or forecasting workflows
- Certinia / FinancialForce
- n8n, Workato, Make, MuleSoft, or similar tools
- AI/LLM integrations

WHAT WE VALUE

We want someone who can take a business problem, understand the existing Salesforce implementation, recommend the safest practical solution, build it, test it, and ship it.

Good judgment is critical. This environment has multiple teams and systems connected to Salesforce, so changes need to be made carefully and tested before production.

IMPORTANT ENGAGEMENT TERMS

- Background check required. The selected contractor must complete identity verification and a background check before receiving access to company systems or confidential data. This process may take several weeks.
- Payment is by invoice, Net 30. You submit invoices for approved hours worked, and payment is due within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice.
- Limited work using synthetic data may begin while system access is pending.
- Confidential company data may only be used in approved systems and accounts.
- Finalists should expect live video interviews and identity verification.
