About Qore Team
Qore Team provides outsourced marketing and sales-development services and is expanding into remote IT support. We help businesses build their pipelines, strengthen their marketing and deliver dependable services. We are growing our remote team, initially focused on the UK, with Australia in our wider plans.
The opportunity
We need an experienced business development professional who can build a repeatable outbound pipeline while managing and improving a small sales team. You will personally prospect and nurture opportunities, coach junior colleagues, and take responsibility for campaign execution and quality. Team management is a core requirement. The initial priority is Qore’s own growth, with responsibility for outsourced client campaigns as agreed.
Reports to the Managing Director. Leads and develops the sales-development team and works closely with marketing.
You will contribute directly to a growing business, help shape practical ways of working and see the impact of your work. Priorities may change as the business develops; we will agree achievable responsibilities and delivery expectations.
Key responsibilities
Build and develop sales pipelines
• Define target customer profiles, research accounts and decision-makers, and build accurate, prioritised prospect lists.
• Run outbound activity through cold calling, personalised
• Build nurture sequences for prospects who are not ready to buy. Maintain clear next actions, ownership and follow-up dates so viable opportunities are not lost.
• Create and improve CRM stages, qualification criteria, handoff standards and pipeline reports. Review ageing opportunities, conversion rates and forecast assumptions.
Manage and develop the team
• Set clear campaign priorities and individual responsibilities. Manage the day-to-day delivery of junior BDRs and appointment setters alongside your own agreed sales activity.
• Onboard and train colleagues, run call reviews and role-plays, provide specific feedback, and document coaching actions and progress.
• Identify performance gaps early, agree improvement actions and escalate persistent issues to the Managing Director. Build usable playbooks, scripts and quality standards.
Lead campaigns and coordinate delivery
• Translate a brief into an outbound plan covering audience, messaging, channels, sequencing, workload and reporting. Test changes and explain what the evidence shows.
• Coordinate with marketing on messaging, content, lead quality and campaign feedback. Keep Qore and client campaign data, promises and priorities clearly separated.
• Provide concise progress reports and explain risks, blockers and recommended improvements. Support prospect handover and client campaign reviews where required.
• Use prospect data responsibly, respect opt-outs and follow approved outreach and security requirements. Pricing, contracts and final commercial commitments remain with the Managing Director.
Required skills and experience
• At least three years of relevant B2B outbound sales or business development experience, including at least one year managing or directly coaching a small sales-development team.
• Evidence of personally generating qualified meetings and opportunities, with clear reporting periods and an explanation of your contribution versus the team’s results.
• Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline from research through prospecting, qualification, nurturing and sales handover.
• Confident cold calling, objection handling and consultative questioning, plus excellent personalised outreach writing.
• Practical experience with a CRM such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot or Salesforce, and prospect research, sequencing and reporting tools.
• Very high written and spoken English proficiency. You must be able to coach colleagues, lead client conversations and write clear professional messages with minimal editing.
• A hands-on leadership style, sound judgement, reliable follow-through and the ability to prioritise in an early-stage business.
• Willingness and reliable availability to work UK business hours, including agreed prime calling and outreach periods.
Preferred experience
• Experience in an outsourced sales provider, lead-generation agency, BPO, MSP or other company delivering services for multiple clients.
• Experience selling B2B professional services, marketing, IT, managed services or SaaS into UK or Australian markets.
• Experience establishing sales processes or improving an underperforming campaign in a small or growing business.
What success looks like
Success means a well-managed team, accurate pipeline visibility, consistent follow-up and a growing flow of held, qualified meetings and accepted opportunities. We will agree targets based on campaign maturity, audience and resources. Meeting quality, conversion and coaching outcomes matter alongside activity levels.
