Role Overview
We are hiring a Sales Manager who will be responsible for closing advisory clients and managing our sales pipeline.
This role is not a call center position.
This is a high-trust consultative sales role where you will speak directly with business owners and entrepreneurs about their tax situation and guide them into the right services.
The Sales Manager will work closely with the founder and will also oversee the firm’s Sales Development Representative (SDR).
This role is responsible for ensuring that leads move efficiently through the sales pipeline and convert into long-term clients.
Core Responsibilities
Client Closing
Conduct strategy and consultation calls with qualified prospects and convert them into clients.
Services typically sold include:
• tax strategy engagements
• tax planning services
• advisory subscriptions
Typical engagements range from $1,000 to $5,000+ per client.
Sales Pipeline Management
Manage the firm’s sales pipeline using GoHighLevel CRM.
Responsibilities include:
• monitoring inbound leads
• prioritizing high-value opportunities
• ensuring consistent follow-ups
• tracking sales pipeline metrics
The goal is to ensure no qualified lead is lost due to lack of follow-up.
Cold Lead Activation
One of the most important responsibilities of this role is reactivating dormant leads.
This includes:
• contacting older leads in our database
• re-engaging prospects who did not initially convert
• identifying opportunities for tax planning services
Many successful deals will come from reviving existing leads rather than generating new ones.
SDR Management
This role will supervise the firm’s Sales Development Representative (SDR) who handles:
• initial outreach
• appointment scheduling
• lead qualification
Responsibilities include:
• improving outreach scripts
• coaching the SDR
• improving appointment show rates
• ensuring follow-up consistency
Sales System Optimization
The Sales Manager will work with our Automation Specialist to improve the sales system.
This includes improving:
• CRM workflows
• lead routing
• appointment scheduling
• automated follow-up sequences
The goal is to build a scalable client acquisition system.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Success in this role will be measured by:
• number of strategy calls completed
• strategy call show rate
• client conversion rate
• monthly revenue generated
• reactivation of cold leads
Required Experience
Strong candidates typically have experience with:
• high-ticket consultative sales
• closing service-based offers
• CRM pipeline management
• working with international clients
Experience selling consulting, financial services, or advisory services is highly preferred.
Communication Requirements
Because this role communicates with U.S. clients, candidates must have:
• clear, neutral American accent
• excellent spoken English
• professional communication skills
Candidates must be comfortable speaking with business owners and professionals in the United States.
Leadership Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will supervise one SDR and may help expand the sales team in the future.
This role requires someone comfortable with:
• coaching tea
• improving sales scripts
• managing lead follow-up processes
Trial Period
This role begins with a 60–90 day paid trial period.
During this time, we will evaluate:
• closing ability
• communication skills
• pipeline management
• ability to improve conversion rates
Candidates who perform well during the trial period will transition into a long-term leadership role within the firm.
Compensation
Base Compensation:
$1,500 – $3,000 per month depending on experience
Performance Bonuses:
Additional bonuses based on revenue generated.
Top performers can significantly increase earnings through performance incentives.
