Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the Acquisition, Customer Engagement, Performance, and Business Development functions to drive revenue growth, maximize capital deployment, and improve overall deal conversion. This role oversees daily sales operations, develops high-performing teams, strengthens negotiation strategies, and ensures the successful execution of acquisition initiatives across all market segments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Acquisition, Customer Engagement, Performance, and Business Development teams to create a unified, high-performing sales organization.
- Drive revenue growth by increasing acquisition performance, improving conversion rates, and maximizing capital deployment.
- Oversee the complete sales lifecycle, from lead qualification through negotiation and successful deal closure.
- Review and strengthen acquisition opportunities to ensure profitability, compliance, and alignment with company objectives.
- Coach and support tea
- Manage relationships with third-party call center partners responsible for initial customer engagement and ensure service quality and performance standards are met.
- Ensure the acquisition team remains focused on:
- Building rapport with prospects
- Qualifying opportunities
- Negotiating effectively
- Closing profitable transactions
- Develop and implement sales strategies that improve conversion rates, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor team performance through KPIs, scorecards, and coaching sessions.
- Provide ongoing training in:
1. Sales psychology
2. Negotiation techniques
3. Deal structuring
4. Customer relationship management
- Identify opportunities to improve acquisition workflows and implement best practices that increase productivity and deal success.
- Mentor supervisors and team leads while developing future leaders within the Acquisition organization.
- Prepare sales forecasts, analyze pipeline performance, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer-focused selling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in acquisition, business development, or high-volume inside sales.
- Minimum 4 years in a leadership or sales management role.
- Proven experience managing remote sales or acquisition teams.
- Strong knowledge of sales strategy, negotiation, and business development.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with third-party vendors or customer-facing partners is preferred.
- Strong communication, coaching, and leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive revenue and growth targets.
