JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Shipping Sales & Booking Coordinator to manage the full commercial and operational cycle of international shipments from the Far East to the USA. This hybrid role requires a mix of active sales/customer acquisition and hands-on shipment coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Growth: Prospect, qualify, and onboard new customers while managing existing accounts.
Quoting & Closing: Prepare freight quotes (FCL, LCL, Air) and negotiate rates to close deals profitably.
Operations: Convert closed deals into bookings and coordinate shipments with overseas agents and carriers.
Documentation: Handle BL instructions, ISF, AMS, invoices, and packing lists.
Tracking: Proactively track shipments and resolve any logistical delays.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in international freight forwarding or logistics.
Expertise: Proven experience specifically with Far East to USA shipping routes.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ocean freight (FCL/LCL), Incoterms, and U.S. import regulations (ISF, AMS).
Sales Ability: Demonstrated success in closing freight sales independently.
Systems: Familiarity with CRM and TMS platforms.
Personal Qualities: Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently.
