Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BDR)
Work Setup: Remote
Schedule: Part-Time — 20 Hours per Week
Primary Focus: Lead Generation, Prospect Qualification, Lead Nurturing, Pipeline Management, and Appointment Setting
Position Overview
We are looking for a professional, organized, and AI-comfortable Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BDR) to support the sales pipeline for two innovative AI solutions:
School Concierge AI — serving the U.S. K–12 education market
e-Discovery AI — serving legal, compliance, records-management, and litigation-support environments
This role goes beyond cold calling and appointment setting. The selected candidate must understand how to move prospects through the sales journey—from initial research and outreach to relationship-building, qualification, ongoing nurturing, and appointment conversion.
The ideal candidate is confident communicating with U.S.-based prospects, understands B2B sales development, and can build trust through consistent, thoughtful follow-up. They should also be comfortable using approved AI tools to improve prospect research, call preparation, outreach personalization, follow-ups, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential prospects within the U.S. K–12 education, legal, compliance, and professional-services markets
Identify key decision-makers within schools, school districts, law firms, legal departments, and businesses
Conduct outbound cold calls, warm calls,
Introduce solutions clearly and confidently while tailoring conversations to each prospect’s needs
Qualify leads based on their needs, challenges, authority, interest, timing, and potential fit
Understand each prospect’s position within the sales funnel and determine the appropriate next step
Build relationships with prospects who may not be ready to schedule an appointment immediately
Nurture warm and long-term leads through consistent, value-driven follow-ups
Re-engage unresponsive, inactive, or previously contacted prospects
Address initial questions and objections using approved sales materials and objection-handling guides
Schedule qualified discovery calls, demonstrations, and follow-up meetings with the leadership team
Maintain accurate CRM or pipeline records, including contact information, call notes, objections, lead status, follow-up dates, and next steps
Track daily outreach activities, conversations, qualified leads, follow-ups, and scheduled appointments
Collaborate with leadership to improve outreach strategies, messaging, scripts, and lead-nurturing sequences
Participate in product, sales, CRM, script, qualification, and objection-handling training
Follow all confidentiality, privacy, and responsible data-handling requirements
Qualifications
Strong spoken and written English with professional communication skills
Previous experience in sales development, business development, B2B outreach, cold calling, lead generation, appointment setting, telemarketing, or sales support
Understanding of the sales funnel and how to move leads from initial contact to qualification and conversion
Experience nurturing leads through multiple calls,
Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships without using overly aggressive sales tactics
Comfortable communicating with prospects during agreed-upon U.S. business hours
Able to follow scripts and sales processes while sounding natural, warm, curious, and confident
Strong listening, research, organization, and note-taking skills
Able to recognize prospect needs, buying signals, concerns, and objections
Disciplined with follow-ups, pipeline management, and activity tracking
Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to support sales activities
Reliable, professional, coachable, goal-oriented, and receptive to feedback
Willing to learn about the U.S. K–12 education and legal/e-Discovery markets

Internal tracking systems and shared documents
Experience with Claude, Apollo, Seamless.AI, Notion, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Canva, or similar tools is a plus.
Preferred Experience
Supporting U.S.-based companies, founders, consultants, agencies, or sales teams
Calling and nurturing prospects from U.S. businesses, schools, school districts, law firms, SaaS companies, or professional-service organizations
Working as an SDR, BDR, Business Development Specialist, Appointment Setter, Lead Generation Specialist, Sales Virtual Assistant, or Executive Assistant
Managing a CRM, sales pipeline, lead stages, follow-up schedules, or outreach sequences
Qualifying prospects and booking discovery calls or product demonstrations
Exposure to education, legal services, compliance, technology, artificial intelligence, SaaS, or B2B sales
Performance Expectations

AI and Confidentiality Requirements
AI tools may only be used within approved workflows. Team members must never upload student information, legal documents, client files, contracts, discovery materials, or confidential business data into an AI tool without specific authorization.
