What You'll Do
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will own the top-of-funnel of Sparkblaze Digital's sales pipeline. Your primary focus is prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads, then booking well-prepped discovery calls for our closing team — setting them up to convert qualified prospects into long-term agency clients. You act as the critical bridge between our marketing/intake team and our sales closers.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Prospecting and identifying potential clients who match our ideal buyer profile, primarily within the education, consulting, and other B2B service industries.
- Qualifying inbound leads generated by our marketing campaigns, and conducting outbound outreach (calls,
- Researching each prospect's business and current online presence to understand their needs before outreach, so conversations are relevant and informed.
- Nurturing warm leads over time through consistent, personalized follow-up until they're ready for a deeper sales conversation.
- Booking discovery calls and qualified meetings for the closing team, and preparing clear handoff notes on each prospect's needs, budget, and goals.
- Accurately logging all prospect interactions, pipeline stages, and lead details in the CRM system to keep data current for the wider sales team.
- Collaborating closely with the marketing and intake teams to ensure lead quality, timely follow-through, and a smooth handoff process.
- Using CRM and AI-assisted tools to prioritize high-potential accounts and streamline outreach.
- Contributing insights from prospect conversations to help refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy.
- Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings booked and pipeline generated.

You should have:

- Familiarity with video conferencing and communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack) for booking and coordinating meetings.
