We're hiring the person who leads that shift.

About This Role
You'll run the day-to-day of our CS team and turn it into a team that sells. This is a player-coach position: you coach agents daily, handle escalations, keep quality high, and take frontline shifts when volume demands it. You'll own the numbers that matter — conversion on pre-sale conversations, upsells, saved refunds, and reviews earned.
Our Head of CX is building the systems side — automation, retention, customer journey design. You take the floor so she can focus there. She'll be your manager and closest partner.

What You'll Own
- Daily coaching and development of every agent — with a sales lens on every customer interaction
- Pre-sale conversations on chat and email: buyers asking "will this work on my property?" and turning those into conversions
- Upsells and cross-sells inside support: accessories, bundles, plan upgrades
- Save attempts on refund and cancellation requests before revenue is lost
- End-to-end escalation handling
- QA scorecards, KPI tracking, and performance conversations with agents
- Systematically turning strong support moments into public reviews
- Sales flows and scripts for our chatbot
- A weekly voice-of-customer report to marketing and product: top objections, confusions, and feature requests straight from tickets

What This Role Requires
- 5+ years of sales experience with results you can show us — real numbers, not just "I supported the team"
- 2+ years leading or coaching a team with clear examples of how you improved performance
- Excellent spoken and written English — our customers are 50+ American property owners who value straight talk
- Comfortable learning technical products quickly. Our cameras involve SIM cards, solar charging, signal strength, and app setup. You don't need an engineering background — you need to enjoy figuring things out and explaining them simply to frustrated customers
- Experience in e-commerce or physical products is a strong plus
- Available during US business hours, with flexibility for early/late hours when team coordination requires it
- Availability: 8 hours on weekdays + half day on weekends (44 hours/week total)
- Comfortable with time tracking (Hubstaff)

Who Should NOT Apply
- Pure inbound CS agents with no sales or management experience
- People who've only managed chatbots or automation — this role is hands-on with humans
- Managers who coach from dashboards but can't jump into a live conversation and handle it better than their team
