About the Role
We're looking for a detail-driven US Accountant with hands-on Sage Intacct experience to manage the full accounting cycle for our operations. You'll own day-to-day bookkeeping through month-end close, working directly within Sage Intacct to keep the books accurate, timely, and audit-ready. This is a remote, independent contractor role suited to someone who works well autonomously and communicates clearly across time zones.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end accounting in Sage Intacct — AP, AR, general ledger, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Own the month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and prepaids
- Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and management reports
- Support budgeting, variance analysis, and cash-flow monitoring
- Identify and implement process and workflow improvements
What You'll Bring
- CPA license — required
- Proven hands-on experience managing end-to-end accounting — from daily bookkeeping (AP, AR, GL) through reconciliations and full month-end/year-end close
- Proven hands-on experience with Sage Intacct (non-negotiable)
- Prior experience supporting US clients or US accounting operations (US GAAP exposure required)
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication
