JOB OVERVIEW

SOCIAL MEDIA RESEARCH & PERFORMANCE ANALYST
Health & Wellness Short-Form Video | Part-Time (20–25 hrs/week) | Remote | Long-Term

ABOUT US
We're a US health and wellness brand building one of the biggest short-form video accounts in hormones, weight loss, and longevity. We need a detail-obsessed analyst who finds what's working in our space every week, tracks every number on our own account, and tells us what to change next.

This is a research and analytics role, not a content-creation role. If you love spreadsheets, spotting patterns, and figuring out why something went viral, keep reading.

WHAT YOU'LL DO EVERY WEEK

1. Outlier Report
Monitor about 40 accounts we give you, plus new ones you find. Find the 20 best-performing reels of the week, ranked by outlier score (a reel's views divided by that account's typical views), not raw views. Log each one in our Google Sheet: link, account, followers, views, likes, comments, shares (if visible), length, and format.

2. Hooks & Transcripts
For the top 10, write down word for word the first sentence spoken and the on-screen text in the first 3 seconds. Then transcribe the full reel.

3. Swipe File
Save the top 10 reels into our Google Drive library, tagged by hook type and format. This is for internal reference only and is never reposted.

4. Comment Mining
Collect 20 real questions people are asking in the comments of top reels, copied word for word with the link.

5. Trend Scan
List any topic that 3 or more accounts posted about this week.

6. Competitor Ads
Check the Meta Ad Library for the brands we list. Record any ad that has been running for more than 30 days, with screenshots.

7. Performance Tracking & Weekly Optimization
Own our content tracker. Log every reel we post: topic, hook, format, and length. Update its stats at 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days: views, average watch time, skip rate, 3-second hold, shares, saves, follows, and non-follower reach. Run a weekly test log, where we change one thing at a time.

Every Sunday, deliver a one-page memo:
- Our top 3 and bottom 3 reels, and what the winners have in common
- Which hook type won this week, and the trend over the last 4 weeks
- How our numbers compare with the top reels in our space
- 4 past reels worth re-posting with a new opening
- The ONE change you'd test next week
- Anything unusual (spikes, drops, a reel suddenly getting shared)

8. Cross-Posting
Post every approved reel to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, and track the stats on each platform.

9. Content Ops
Organize video and subtitle files from our editor in Google Drive, and schedule approved posts in Meta Business Suite.

YOUR FIRST 30 DAYS
- Week 1: Enter every reel we've already posted into the tracker so we have a baseline.
- Weeks 1–4: Write a short SOP (a doc or Loom video) for every recurring task you do.

HOW WE WORK
- Weekly report and memo due every Monday, 8:00 AM Manila time
- A short daily update in Slack: what you did, what's next, and anything blocking you
- One 20-minute call each week: [Monday 9:00 AM Manila time]
- 20–25 hours per week, flexible outside the call

HOW YOU'LL BE MEASURED
- The Monday report arrives on time every week
- Transcripts are word-for-word accurate
- Stories from your report make it onto our content slate
- Your recommended tests actually get run and move our numbers

REQUIREMENTS
- Strong written English, especially accurate transcription
- Very comfortable with Google Sheets (formulas, sorting, clean formatting)
- Uses Instagram and TikTok daily and understands Reels metrics
- Reliable internet and on-time delivery every single week
- Bonus: experience with social analytics or scraping tools (Apify, Social Blade, etc.) or the health/fitness space

PAY & GROWTH
[$X/month], paid via [method]. Paid trial week first. Pay review at 90 days, with room to grow into running our social analytics.

HOW TO APPLY
1. Write "OUTLIER" as the first word of your application.
2. Pick any creator in health or fitness. Compare two of their recent reels, one that did well and one that didn't, and explain in 5–6 sentences what you think made the difference.
Applications without both will not be reviewed.
