At AMW Audit Group, we focus solely on external audit—and we do it exceptionally well. As one of Australia’s trusted independent audit firms, we support schools, charities, private businesses, and SMSFs across the country.
We’re now looking for experienced SMSF auditors to join our growing offshore team. This is a long-term, fully remote opportunity where your expertise is valued, your time is respected, and your work-life balance is protected.
You’ll work closely with our in-house team to audit SMSFs for Australian clients, following ATO standards from planning through to reporting. The role offers competitive pay, a flexible work setup, a realistic workload, and a team culture built on trust and clear communication.
We’re looking for auditors with proven SMSF experience and a solid grasp of Australian audit standards. CA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications are welcome, but what matters most is your attention to detail, professional mindset, and ability to deliver quality work independently.

SMSF Audit Manager Qualifications:
• At least 5 years audit experience including experience in SMSF audit and/or SMSF administration
• Prior Big 4 audit experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards
• In-depth knowledge of the SIS Act and Regulations
• Experience in SMSF accounting software e.g. Class, BGL is a plus
Additional requirements:
• High attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to effectively manage a team, prioritise work and multitask.
Job Description:
• Audit SMSF Financial Statements and SIS compliance
• Review SMSF audits done by junior auditors
• Liaise with accountants & clients throughout the audit process
• Provide coaching & training for junior auditors
