We are looking for a Canva and Social Media Strategy Consultant to help develop a strategic content presence for a new property management venture. This will be a temporary part-time consulting role focused on developing an overall social media strategy and helping produce high-quality visual content that positions the founder and company as trusted experts in the rental housing and property management space. The primary objective is not to attract tenants or end-users, but to build credibility with Realtors and other professionals who can become referral partners. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of social media platform algorithms, particularly Instagram and Facebook and ---------- , and be able to advise on how content should be structured, scheduled, and distributed to maximize reach and engagement. You should also be highly proficient with Canva, capable of designing professional templates and content, and comfortable training internal staff on how to improve their Canva skills and use the platform more effectively so that strong content can continue to be produced internally long-term. Experience working with property management or real estate companies is preferred but not mandatory; however, applicants should demonstrate prior success helping businesses position themselves as experts online and attract referral relationships from other professionals rather than direct consumer leads. Responsibilities will include advising on overall content strategy, developing repeatable content systems, designing social media graphics and templates, helping convert industry knowledge into educational and thought-leadership style posts for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, and mentoring staff on best practices for content creation and distribution. The number of hours and scope of the project will be determined after an initial meeting and discussion. Applicants should provide examples of past Canva work, social media accounts or campaigns they have helped grow, and any relevant experience positioning businesses as industry authorities.
