This is a great fit for someone who loves structure, can juggle several moving projects at once, and takes pride in clean, on-brand, scroll-stopping content.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Administrative Support
Organize and maintain content calendars, project trackers, and task boards (e.g., Social Pilot, Slacks, Notion, Google Sheets)
Manage and organize shared drives/folders (raw files, edited files, approved assets)
Track deadlines across multiple projects/clients and send reminders to keep things on schedule
Prepare briefs, status reports, and simple project updates
Coordinate with the SMM on posting schedules, approvals, and revisions
2. Video & Image Editing
Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) — cutting, trimming, adding captions/subtitles, transitions, music, and branded templates

Apply brand guidelines consistently (fonts, colors, logos, tone)
Organize a content library of finished and raw assets for easy reuse
Use AI tools to speed up and enhance editing (e.g., AI-assisted captioning, background removal, upscaling, auto-reframing, AI video/image generation, and other AI editing plug-ins) — must be an AI expert who stays updated on new AI editing tools and workflows
3. Project Execution Support
Help execute campaigns from brief to publish, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
Flag issues, bottlenecks, or missing assets proactively
Assist with basic scheduling/posting using social media tools
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Haves
At least 1–2 years of experience in social media support, video/photo editing, or virtual/executive assistant work (agency experience is a plus)
Working knowledge of video editing tools (CapCut, Canva, or similar)
Comfortable managing multiple projects/deadlines at the same time
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Stable internet connection (at least 25 Mbps) and a working computer/laptop with editing software capability
Nice-to-Haves
Basic understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best-performing content formats
Experience creating ad creatives for Meta/TikTok/Google Ads
Familiarity with copywriting or caption writing
Experience with project management tools
Expert in using AI tools
Characteristics & Qualities We're Looking For
Knowledgeable — understands current social media trends and content best practices, and is eager to keep learning
Highly organized — can manage several projects, files, and deadlines without dropping the ball
Flexible & adaptable — comfortable with shifting priorities, last-minute requests, and revisions
Detail-oriented — catches small errors in edits, captions, and branding before they go live
Proactive & resourceful — flags problems early and suggests solutions instead of waiting to be told
Reliable & deadline-driven — delivers on time, communicates early if something will be delayed
Creative eye — has a sense for what looks clean, on-brand, and scroll-stopping
Team player with initiative — works well supporting someone else's workflow while still owning their own tasks
Coachable — receives feedback well and applies it quickly to future work
