JOB OVERVIEW

For over 21 years, Altos has partnered with hotels and resorts to help them stand out, connect with travelers, and drive more direct bookings. We’re looking for a part-time SEO/AI Search Optimization & GEO expert (10–15 hours per week) who understands the ins and outs of getting discovered in AI search.

The Role:
- Research and optimize content for AI-driven and traditional search experiences.
- Optimize Google Business Profiles, schema markup, and local listings.
- Analyze visibility trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Support content strategy with AI-friendly formatting, keyword alignment, and metadata.
- Build and monitor link equity through outreach and partnerships.
- Help shape and manage client reputation and review response strategies.
- Create clear, actionable performance reports.
- Stay ahead of search evolution — from SGE to local algorithm updates.

Requirements
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO, local SEO, and now digital visibility in AI search
-Deep understanding of search intent, schema markup, and local ranking factors.
-Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, and related tools.
-Understanding about AI search tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.).
-Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
-Ability to manage multiple clients within part-time hours.
-Hotel experience a plus.

Please note: This is not a traditional SEO role and it's not an entry-level role. Only candidates with demonstrated experience and knowledge of AEO/GEO practices and the evolving best practices to increase visibility in AI search need to apply. We are in need of an expert who has been staying ahead of where search is going.
