Position Summary
GWIN is seeking an SEO Specialist to grow our visibility in search engines, increase qualified website traffic, and help more homeowners and contractors discover our products. This role will focus on improving rankings, organic traffic, and revenue by optimizing product pages, collections, blog content, landing pages, and technical site performance. Because GWIN’s brand messaging centers on Assisted DIY, customer support, and unusually strong warranty coverage, this role will help make sure those differentiators are easy for search engines and customers to find.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute SEO strategies to grow organic traffic and non-paid revenue
Perform keyword research for product, category, and blog content opportunities
Optimize on-page SEO elements including titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links, image alt text, and page structure
Improve rankings for high-intent searches related to mini-splits, HVAC systems, warranties, financing, and Assisted DIY installation
Audit and improve technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, duplicate content, and structured data
Create SEO content briefs and collaborate on blog posts, landing pages, and educational content
Analyze competitor websites and search opportunities in the HVAC and home-comfort space
Monitor rankings, organic conversions, and user behavior through analytics and SEO tools
Report monthly on performance, wins, losses, and next-step recommendations
Work closely with leadership, web, and advertising teams to align SEO with broader growth goals

This role will help GWIN grow visibility around searches tied to its actual market position, such as DIY mini splits, Assisted DIY HVAC systems, warranty-focused comparisons, and home HVAC buying research. GWIN’s current website and blog already lean into those themes through comparison content, warranty education, and Tennessee/homeowner-oriented articles.
Qualifications
2+ years of SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce, home services, HVAC, or consumer products
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, content, and technical SEO
Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms
Ability to translate keyword research into pages that drive traffic and sales
Strong writing/editing instincts and understanding of search intent
Experience optimizing Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is strongly preferred
Comfortable analyzing performance data and making practical recommendations
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple SEO priorities at once
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with product-led SEO and collection page optimization
Experience writing or guiding comparison content, FAQ content, and educational blog strategy
Familiarity with schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and conversion-focused SEO
Knowledge of the HVAC, home improvement, or contractor market
