JOB OVERVIEW

SEO Specialist

We are hiring an SEO Specialist to support our SEO team with keyword research, technical SEO checks, on-page optimisation, content briefs, internal linking, link building, reporting, and AI search visibility tracking.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

- Pulling keyword data from SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, and Google Search Console
- Cleaning, deduplicating, tagging, and clustering keyword lists
- Identifying keyword intent and potential cannibalisation risks
- Running website crawls and exporting SEO issues
- Checking for broken internal and external links
- Identifying orphan pages from crawls and sitemaps
- Validating schema markup
- Monitoring Core Web Vitals and flagging issues
- Auditing title tags, meta descriptions, H1s, URLs, and page content consistency
- Adding image alt text
- Gathering SERP data, common search questions, and competitor headings for content briefs
- Creating SEO content briefs for supporting pages
- Finding pages that may need refreshing or improving
- Mapping and implementing approved internal links
- Reviewing anchor text for natural usage
- Building prospect lists and finding contact details
- Tracking outreach responses and backlink placements
- Monitoring new and lost backlinks
- Creating local citations
- Tracking how search results are changing, including AI search features
- Preparing data and reports for senior SEO review

You will work closely with a senior SEO who will review strategy, technical recommendations, content planning, site structure, and advanced SEO decisions.

Requirements

- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, internal linking, link building, and technical SEO basics
- Able to follow SOPs and document work clearly
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and SEO exports
- Reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines
- Good written English
