SEO Specialist (Remote – Philippines)
Neutonic is a fast-growing nootropic energy brand designed to help people think clearer, focus better, and perform at their best. Our products combine research-backed nootropics with great taste to create a new kind of functional energy. We’ve sold millions of cans across the UK and US and continue to grow rapidly through our e-commerce and retail channels.
Our website already drives strong traffic and revenue, but our SEO is still very basic. We’re now hiring a skilled SEO Specialist to take full ownership of this area, working directly on our Shopify Plus website to build a strong, scalable organic foundation for the brand.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on SEO expert who can both strategise and execute. You’ll not only audit and plan improvements but also implement them directly in Shopify Plus — updating pages, saving keywords, and optimising content yourself.
This role is ideal for someone who’s technically proficient in SEO and comfortable working inside Shopify every day. You’ll help us move from the basics to a best-in-class SEO setup that supports a global, fast-growing brand.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct a complete SEO audit of Neutonic’s current website and outline clear priorities.
Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on improving visibility, traffic, and organic sales.
Manage on-page SEO across all product and content pages — meta titles, descriptions, tags, internal links, and alt text.
Use Shopify Plus daily to implement and save keywords, update content, optimise site structure, and ensure best practices are in place.
Carry out keyword research and mapping, building a clear keyword strategy by market (UK, US, etc.).
Improve technical SEO: page speed, crawlability, schema markup, and mobile optimisation.
Work with our developers to ensure all technical changes are implemented correctly.
Build and maintain a content optimisation process, working with our creative and marketing teams to improve blogs, landing pages, and PDPs.
Develop and manage a backlink strategy focusing on high-quality link acquisition and digital PR.
Set up SEO reporting dashboards using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
Monitor algorithm changes and update strategies accordingly.
About You
3+ years of experience in SEO, ideally for e-commerce or consumer product brands.
Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus — must be able to implement SEO changes directly (not just advise).
Strong understanding of technical SEO and content optimisation.
Proficient in Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
Able to analyse data and communicate insights clearly.
Comfortable working independently with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Experience with international SEO (UK, US, or multi-region setups) is a plus.
