JOB OVERVIEW

SEO & SEM Specialist

Location: Remote, working with a Singapore-based team

Employment type: Full-time, 44 hours per week / 176 hours per month

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00pm to 9:00pm Singapore time

Reporting to: Senior SEO Manager and CEO

Experience required: 3+ years of hands-on SEO and Google Ads experience. Singapore education, tuition or local-service experience is strongly preferred.

About Achievers Dream
- Achievers Dream is a Singapore Chemistry and Science tuition specialist. The centre supports Primary Science students and students taking O-Level, IP and JC H1/H2 Chemistry, with centres at Lorong Chuan, Bukit Timah and Kembangan. Its growth focus is clear: help more parents discover the right programme, book a diagnostic consultation or trial, and receive a thoughtful follow-up experience.

Role overview
- The SEO & SEM Specialist will own the search roadmap for Achievers Dream. This is a hands-on role covering technical SEO, local SEO, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), content optimisation, Google Ads, landing-page conversion and performance reporting.

You will work closely with the management, content and web teams to make sure Achievers Dream is visible when Singapore parents search for Primary Science tuition, PSLE Science tuition, O-Level Chemistry tuition, JC H2 Chemistry tuition, Chemistry practical tuition and local tuition options near its centres.

The role is not just about traffic or clicks. It is about building a reliable search engine that produces qualified parent enquiries, trial bookings and measurable learning-programme demand.

What you will do

SEO strategy and execution
- Build and maintain an SEO roadmap for Achievers Dream's core programmes: Primary Science, PSLE Science, Lower Secondary Science, O-Level Chemistry, IP Chemistry, JC H1/H2 Chemistry and Chemistry practical lessons.
- Carry out keyword research, search-intent mapping and competitor analysis for the Singapore tuition market.
- Optimise service pages, location pages, resource hubs, blog content, titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and calls to action.
- Improve local SEO visibility for Lorong Chuan, Bukit Timah and Kembangan, including Google Business Profile hygiene, location-page content and review signals.
- Work with the web team on technical SEO: crawlability, page speed, Core Web Vitals, redirects, canonicals, structured data, mobile UX and site migrations.
- Build content briefs that help parents and students, while improving eligibility for search results and AI-assisted search experiences.
- Own GEO and AEO improvements so Achievers Dream is easier to understand, cite and recommend across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and other answer engines, using clear entity information, helpful FAQs, structured content and accurate on-page proof.
- Monitor rankings, organic traffic, indexed pages, technical issues and AI-search visibility; translate findings into a prioritised monthly action plan.

Google Ads and paid-search performance
- Build, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns for Achievers Dream's programmes and locations.
- Structure campaigns by intent and level, for example: Primary Science, PSLE Science, O-Level Chemistry, JC H2 Chemistry, Chemistry Lab and local branch terms.
- Write and test search ads, assets, landing-page messages, audience signals, keyword match types and negative-keyword lists.
- Improve qualified leads by monitoring search terms, conversion quality, cost per lead, cost per booked trial and campaign-level performance.
- Run disciplined A/B tests across ads, landing pages, offers,- forms, calls to action and bidding strategies.
- Coordinate retargeting and paid social support where it is part of the approved campaign plan.
- Protect budget quality by excluding irrelevant searches such as free notes, tutor jobs, answer keys and non-target education levels where appropriate.

Analytics, reporting and conversion tracking
- Maintain reliable tracking across Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and lead or trial-booking forms.
- Define and report the conversion journey from click to enquiry, booked trial, attendance and enrolment where CRM data is available.
- Build a simple monthly dashboard for management covering organic visibility, paid spend, qualified enquiries, cost per lead, conversion rate, booked trials and key actions taken.
- Diagnose drops or anomalies before making recommendations; clearly distinguish confirmed first-party results from platform estimates.
- Use Ahrefs, Google Ads Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, GA4, Looker Studio and crawling tools to guide decisions.

Collaboration and ownership
- Work directly with management, teachers, content writers and developers to turn search insights into better pages, campaigns and parent journeys.
- Maintain a clear backlog of SEO, SEM, content and technical actions, including owner, priority, expected impact and validation method.
- Keep up with Google Ads policy changes, search algorithm updates, local-search behaviour and AI-assisted search trends.
- Bring practical recommendations, not just reports. Explain what should change, why it matters, who owns it and how success will be measured.

What we are looking for

Required
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO and Google Ads experience.
- Proven ability to manage search campaigns that generate leads, not just clicks.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge: site architecture, redirects, canonicals, indexation, page speed, Core Web Vitals, schema and internal linking.
- Strong Google Ads experience across search campaigns, keyword strategy, bidding, search-term analysis, conversion tracking and landing-page optimisation.
- Comfort using GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Ahrefs, Looker Studio and spreadsheet-based analysis.
- Strong written English and the ability to write clear, parent-friendly search ads, briefs and reporting summaries.
- Analytical discipline: can explain the difference between a ranking, a click, an enquiry, a booked trial and an enrolled student.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently in a remote team.

Strongly preferred
- Experience in Singapore local SEO, education, tuition, enrichment, healthcare or another parent-led local-service market.
- Experience optimising Google Business Profiles and multi-location local search.
- Experience working with WordPress, Astro or another modern CMS.
- Familiarity with CRM or lead-management workflows and offline conversion tracking.
- Experience producing or briefing educational content for Primary, PSLE, O-Level or JC audiences.
- Experience with GEO, AEO, AI-search visibility, entity optimisation or structured content for answer engines.

First 90 days
| Period | Focus | Expected output |
| Days 1 to 30 | Audit and foundation | Access and tracking review, SEO, GEO/AEO and Google Ads audit, keyword map, priority opportunity list, lead-quality baseline and 90-day execution plan. |
| Days 31 to 60 | Launch and optimise | Rebuilt or improved campaign structure, negative-keyword controls, priority landing-page improvements, local SEO actions and first content or technical tickets shipped. |
| Days 61 to 90 | Scale what works | Documented test learnings, conversion-quality review, a prioritised next-quarter roadmap and a management dashboard with agreed reporting definitions. |

KPIs for success

KPIs will be agreed after access, tracking and baseline data are verified. Likely measures include:
- Growth in qualified parent enquiries and booked trials from organic and paid search.
- Improvement in cost per qualified lead and cost per booked trial, where tracking is reliable.
- Visibility and ranking progress for agreed commercial keywords across Primary Science, PSLE Science, O-Level Chemistry, JC Chemistry and local branch terms.
- Organic clicks, impressions and conversion contribution from Google Search Console and GA4.
- Google Ads search-term quality, click-through rate, conversion rate and budget efficiency.
- Completion of agreed technical, content and landing-page priorities.
- Clear monthly reporting with recommendations, owners and follow-up actions.

Application process

Before submitting your resume, please include a concise 90-day draft plan for how you would improve Achievers Dream's SEO, GEO/AEO and Google Ads performance. This can be a one- to two-page document. We are looking for clear priorities, practical actions and how you would measure progress, not a generic proposal.

Please submit:

1. Your CV or LinkedIn profile.
2. Your 90-day draft plan, submitted together with your resume.
3. A short summary of one SEO project and one Google Ads project you personally improved.
4. A sample dashboard, report or case study, with sensitive client data removed.
5. A short response to this question: How would you approach improving qualified trial bookings for a Singapore Primary Science and Chemistry tuition centre in your first 90 days?

Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a paid practical assessment based on an anonymised Achievers Dream landing page or Google Ads account scenario.
