You already know the loop: prospect sites in Ahrefs, check the traffic and niche, find the owner, reach out cold, negotiate a price, close the placement. We do the exact same thing — except instead of buying a guest post or a backlink, you're acquiring the whole community. Same skills, same tools, higher-value deals.

WHO WE ARE
We're a small digital media company that grows and manages niche online communities in the wedding and lifestyle space. We're hiring an experienced SEO outreach / link builder to source and acquire communities for us. You bring the Ahrefs judgment and the outreach muscle; we'll teach you the platform side (Reddit) fast.

THE JOB, DAY TO DAY
• Prospect and vet communities from a list our software pulls — the same way you'd vet a site for a link: traffic, niche relevance, keyword and search intent, real engagement vs. inflated numbers
• Judge commercial value — does this niche have buyer-intent keywords and monetization potential, or does it just look big?
• Find the owner/moderator and reach out across the right channels (their public socials, DMs) — cold outreach you've done a thousand times
• Negotiate the price and close the acquisition — moderation rights or full ownership transfer
• Coordinate the handoff once terms are set
• Keep a clean pipeline: prospects, outreach status, deals, spend

WHAT WE'RE ACTUALLY HIRING FOR
1. Ahrefs-level judgment. Anyone can read a traffic number. You can look at a site or community and tell whether the niche is worth paying for — search intent, commercial keywords, traffic quality. This is the rare skill, and it's the one link builders already have.
2. Outreach and negotiation. Cold-contacting an owner, getting a reply, agreeing on a price, and closing. If you've negotiated guest post or link placements, you've done this — we just need you comfortable doing it on bigger deals.

Reddit experience is a plus, not a requirement. The platform mechanics are quick to learn for someone who already knows SEO.

WHO YOU PROBABLY ARE
• An experienced link builder, SEO outreach specialist, guest post / blogger outreach VA, or digital PR outreach person with real past work you can point to
• Fluent in Ahrefs (or Semrush) — prospecting, traffic analysis, keyword and niche evaluation
• Comfortable with high-volume cold outreach AND with negotiating a price with a site owner
• You understand niches, search intent, and what makes traffic actually valuable
• Organized, self-directed, runs your own pipeline
• Clear written English
• Bonus: affiliate marketing experience, or you've bought/sold websites or domains

COMPENSATION
Competitive base + a bonus on every acquisition you close. Strong closers earn well here.

TO APPLY, ANSWER THESE
1. Describe your link building / outreach experience — what kinds of sites did you prospect, what tools did you use, and roughly what volume of outreach and placements did you handle?
2. You're evaluating a site or community in Ahrefs. Beyond the raw traffic number, what specifically tells you the niche is genuinely valuable and worth paying for versus something that just looks big? Be specific.
3. Tell me about a placement or deal where the owner wasn't interested at first. How did you get them to a yes, and how did you handle the price?
