JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an SEO Operations Specialist to support the SEO Manager and broader SEO team in the execution, monitoring, and optimization of ongoing SEO services. This role will ensure quality control, process consistency, reporting accuracy, and proactive client account management across SEO initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Google Business Profile (GBP) management
* Conduct monthly GBP optimization checks to ensure accuracy of information and confirm posts are publishing correctly
* Perform daily GBP review audits
* Monitor for suspended or flagged listings and escalate to SEO team with screenshots and detailed notes

2. Website SEO Support
* Assign/coordinate SEO-related website post-launch tasks
* Conduct post-launch SEO quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure correct metadata transfer, redirects, indexing, etc.
* Identify and close recurring SEO gaps during website launches
* Coordinate with Web Development Coordinator on SEO-related website issues and support

3. Technical SEO Support
* Run Screaming Frog crawls for new sites
* Conduct URL mapping for website builds and migrations

4. Reporting & Data Support
* Compile monthly SEO performance data (traffic, conversions, rankings)
* Support the SEO team in preparing reporting deliverables


5. Process Documentation & Optimization
* Regularly audit and update project management templates and SOPs as processes evolve
* Document new service workflows

6. Blog optimization support
* Support blog optimization efforts as needed to alleviate workload from SEO tea ---------- mbers


Key Qualifications:

1. Must have foundational understanding of SEO principles including:
* On-page optimization (meta titles/descriptions, headers, internal linking)
* Google Business Profile optimization best practices
* Technical SEO basics (redirects, indexing, crawlability)
* Local SEO ranking factors

2. Must be comfortable working inside SEO tools such as:
* Google Analytics
* Google Search Console
* Screaming Frog

3. Must have strong attention to detail
4. Must be able to identify inconsistencies, errors, or performance issues and escalate clearly with proper documentation (screenshots, notes, summaries)
5. Must be process-oriented and able to follow, improve, and document SOPs and workflows
6. Must be an excellent communicator, particularly when coordinating with Web Development, Support, and the SEO team
7. Must be comfortable working independently while maintaining deadlines and quality standards
8. Must be proactive in identifying gaps in service delivery and recommending improvements
