JOB OVERVIEW

About the Company:
Alchemy Excavation is a U.S.-based civil construction business with a background in professional engineering. The company is new and looking someone to assist with various VA and web tasks. We’re looking for a full-time SEO & Marketing Virtual Assistant to help grow our online presence and support day-to-day operations. This person would have no problem in helping in any facet of the business working they can do remotely including SEO, social media posts (with owners provided job photos and subjects), AI integration, lead generation, emailings and client email follow-ups/scheduling.

I am a ENTP personality and need someone to help anchor me and to get service leads for jobs in my area. We're looking for someone who will join our team and see the company grow, as well as themself. This is just a starting salary and bonuses for great work and dedication will be considered towards the end of the year. I am a civil engineer by trait and decently tech savy and fun to work with. I put 36 hours to have a little more time for flexibility.

Responsibilities:
- Perform SEO tasks to optimize our websites and blog posts.
- Recreate, manage and update content on our website, including basic HTML editing and uploading images.
- Manage social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn) including creating posts, scheduling, and engaging with followers.
- Conduct competitor research and market analysis.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, track performance, and provide weekly reports.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, data entry, and reporting (Excel/Sheets).
- Other general administrative duties as needed (scheduling, email follow-up, research).

Requirements:
- 1+ year experience in SEO and digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.
- Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, and basic graphic editing.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and Canva (or similar).
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- High attention to detail, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn.
- Bonus: Experience in basic accounting/bookkeeping or project management or CAD drafting.

Compensation:
$125 USD per week (paid weekly). Work schedule: 36 hours/week, flexible but must overlap at least 2-4 hours a week with US Eastern time (America/Indiana/Indianapolis).
2 weeks paid vacation, accrued 1 week per 90 days.
