We are a local Tampa Bay real estate investment firm. We buy houses for cash in Tampa, St Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, and surrounding areas. We focus on motivated sellers, inherited properties, storm damaged homes, foreclosure situations, and off market opportunities. We are BBB accredited with an A plus rating and have been operating since 2016.

Position Overview
You will own the entire SEO strategy for both websites. Your goal is simple. Increase qualified seller leads. Improve rankings for high intent keywords. Dominate local search in Tampa Bay and Pinellas County. You will drive traffic that converts into inbound calls and form submissions from motivated homeowners.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy and Planning
• Build and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy for both domains
• Perform advanced keyword research focused on seller intent such as sell my house fast Tampa, cash home buyers St Petersburg, we buy houses Clearwater
• Create content clusters by city and neighborhood
• Develop topical authority around foreclosure, probate, divorce, storm damage, inherited homes

On Page SEO
• Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headers, schema markup
• Improve internal linking structure across both sites
• Ensure every city page targets a primary and secondary keyword
• Optimize Google Business Profile pages for Tampa and St Petersburg
• Implement FAQ schema for AEO and AI search visibility

Technical SEO
• Conduct regular technical audits
• Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals
• Fix crawl errors, indexing issues, and duplicate content
• Manage XML sitemaps and robots.txt
• Implement structured data for local business and reviews

Content Development
• Create SEO focused blog posts for Tampa and St Petersburg housing market trends
• Develop long form pillar pages for each major city in Hillsborough and Pinellas County
• Coordinate with writers and editors
• Refresh and update older articles to improve rankings
• Ensure all content is optimized for AI searchable queries

Local SEO
• Optimize Google Business Profiles
• Build and manage local citations
• Improve NAP consistency across directories
• Develop location pages for neighborhoods such as Seminole Heights, Westchase, Largo, Clearwater, Pinellas Park
• Implement review generation strategy

Link Building
• Develop white hat backlink strategy
• Build local authority links
• Secure guest posts and local PR placements
• Monitor backlink profile and remove toxic links

Analytics and Reporting
• Track rankings for priority keywords
• Monitor traffic, conversions, and cost per lead
• Set up and manage Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Provide monthly performance reports
• Tie SEO performance to actual seller contracts and revenue

Required Qualifications
• 3 plus years experience in SEO
• Proven track record ranking local service businesses
• Strong understanding of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
• Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar tools
• Ability to interpret data and turn it into action
• Strong copywriting and conversion optimization skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in real estate or motivated seller marketing
• Knowledge of Carrot websites
• Familiarity with Hillsborough County and Pinellas County markets
• Understanding of schema and structured data

Performance Metrics
You will be measured on:
• Increase in organic traffic
• Growth in first page rankings
• Number of inbound seller leads
• Cost per acquisition from organic search
• Growth in Google Business Profile calls and direction requests

Compensation
Competitive base salary or monthly retainer plus performance bonus tied to lead volume and closed deals.
