## About CONTENU

CONTENU is a U.S.-based creative and growth marketing agency working primarily with healthcare, dental, construction, insurance, and professional-service brands.

We combine brand strategy, content, SEO, GEO/AI Search, websites, social media, and performance marketing to help businesses become more visible and generate qualified leads.

We are expanding our SEO/GEO capabilities and are looking for a hands-on specialist who can execute SEO and AI Search strategies as part of our team.

**This is not a general content-writer position.**

We are looking for someone who already understands SEO, has practical experience with GEO/AEO/AI Search, writes excellent English, and knows how to use AI tools intelligently without producing generic AI content.

## What You Will Do

* Conduct keyword, search-intent, topic, competitor, and query research
* Research topics and questions relevant to both traditional search and AI-generated answers
* Write and optimize high-quality English-language SEO/GEO articles
* Use ChatGPT and other AI tools for research and content production while maintaining human editorial judgment, fact-checking, and quality control
* Optimize content for Google Search as well as AI Search / GEO / AEO
* Work with entities, topical authority, citations, questions, and content structures that can improve visibility in AI-generated answers
* Optimize existing website pages and articles
* Create titles, meta descriptions, headings, FAQs, internal links, and other on-page SEO elements
* Publish and properly format content in WordPress
* Work with SEO and AI-visibility platforms such as Search Atlas, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and related tools
* Review SEO and AI Visibility performance
* Track rankings, queries, visibility, citations/mentions, competitors, and content performance
* Prepare concise reports explaining what was completed, what changed, what the data shows, and what should be optimized next
* Follow established client strategy and brand positioning using CONTENU's internal ChatGPT workspace and company resources
* Identify opportunities and problems proactively rather than simply completing assigned tasks

## Required Experience

* **2+ years of hands-on SEO experience**
* Demonstrable experience with **GEO, AEO, AI Search, or optimization for AI-generated answers**
* **Excellent written English — essential**
* Experience writing and editing professional English-language content for U.S. or other English-speaking markets
* Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, internal linking, and content optimization
* Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT as part of a professional SEO/content workflow
* WordPress experience
* Experience with Google Search Console and SEO analytics/reporting
* Ability to analyze results rather than simply collect data
* Ability to work independently from a strategy or assignment and take a task through completion
* Strong attention to detail and fact-checking
* Ability to work reliably in a remote international team

Experience with **Search Atlas, SEMrush, Ahrefs, AI visibility platforms, schema/structured data, local SEO, healthcare SEO, or U.S. local-service businesses** is a strong advantage.

You do not need previous Search Atlas experience if you have strong experience with comparable SEO platforms and can learn new tools quickly.

## What We Are Looking For

We want someone who thinks like an SEO/GEO specialist, not someone who simply generates articles with AI.

A strong candidate should be able to receive a topic or strategic direction, research it independently, determine the appropriate search and AI-search approach, produce and publish the content, review the results, and identify opportunities for further optimization.

We value people who complete the assignment but also notice opportunities, identify problems in the data, and recommend what should happen next.

Initiative, curiosity, ownership, and willingness to continue learning are important to us.

## Schedule & Compensation

* Approximately **20 hours per week**
* Remote
* Philippines-based candidates preferred
* **Starting rate: $7/hour, depending on experience**
* Opportunity for additional hours and increased responsibility as the role and our AI Search practice grow

7. Briefly describe your process for creating an SEO/GEO article using AI. We specifically want to know what **you** do beyond generating the first AI draft.
