About RemovalistNow
RemovalistNow is an Australian removalist comparison platform that helps people planning local, interstate, home, apartment and office moves compare removalist options and make more informed decisions.
We are seeking a proactive SEO Outreach & Backlink Specialist to build relevant publisher relationships and strengthen our organic visibility. This is not a bulk
The role covers both earned editorial backlinks and paid placement coordination. Quality, relevance and careful execution are more important than sending a high volume of emails.
Core Responsibilities
You will research relevant websites, publishers, journalists, bloggers and content creators for RemovalistNow. The best opportunities will be related to moving house, relocation, property, first-home buyers, home improvement, interiors, local services, real estate and Australian consumer advice.
You will pursue unpaid editorial opportunities through personalised outreach. This can include resource-page inclusions, expert quotes, useful moving guides, original guest articles, local-business features, relevant partnerships, broken-link opportunities and genuine editorial mentions. Your role is to create a compelling reason for the publisher to mention a useful RemovalistNow resource.
You will also coordinate paid link insertions and sponsored guest-post opportunities. For each offer, you will collect the exact article URL, placement location, price, target audience, link type, duration, renewal terms and proposed anchor text. You will prepare a clear opportunity summary for approval before any deal is accepted.
You will maintain a detailed Google Sheet that records every prospect, contact name, email, publisher website, article URL, website topic, country/audience if available, outreach date, follow-up date, reply status, price, proposed link target, anchor text, placement details and final live-link status.
You will send approved personalised outreach emails and professional follow-ups. You will also coordinate the submission of approved guest articles and confirm each placement after it is published by checking the live destination URL, anchor text, page context and link attribute.
Quality Standard
We only want links that are relevant, visible and useful to readers. A strong opportunity normally has an existing article about moving, home ownership, relocation, property or a related home-service topic. The preferred placement is a natural, in-body contextual link on a permanent page.
You must avoid generic directories, link farms, irrelevant lifestyle sites, casino/adult/CBD content, automated mass outreach and sites where the proposed placement cannot be verified. Do not recommend an opportunity only because it is cheap or claims to offer a do-follow link.
Approval Rules
You may research, draft emails, follow up and manage the outreach spreadsheet independently. However, you must receive written approval before you accept a paid offer, agree to a price, provide final link instructions, submit an article, promise a publication date, make a payment or share payment information.
You must never pay invoices, enter payment details, access financial accounts, create website logins, publish content on our website or change RemovalistNow pages. You must not promise search rankings or use misleading outreach claims.
Skills and Experience
You must write excellent English and be confident communicating with website owners and editors. You should have practical experience in manual SEO outreach, digital PR, guest-post outreach, editorial link building or publisher relationship management.
You should be comfortable researching websites with Google, Google Sheets, Gmail and SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs or equivalent platforms. You need to understand the difference between a genuine editorial in-body link and a low-value directory or generic paid-post listing.
Experience working with Australian websites, home services, property, real estate, local services, moving or relocation content is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, reliable follow-up and good judgement are essential.
Initial Paid Trial
The successful applicant will begin with a two-week paid trial. During the trial, you will research high-quality prospects, build a clean outreach sheet, draft personalised outreach emails and follow up only on approved conversations.
A successful trial will demonstrate that you can identify relevant articles, explain why a placement is valuable, write professional outreach and follow processes carefully. Quality and accuracy matter more than the number of emails sent.
