**About Genesis SEO**
We help construction and home services companies win local markets with practical SEO, clean websites, and content that builds real authority. We move fast, keep communication professional, and measure outcomes.

## The Role

You’ll own topic-driven content that earns rankings, drives leads, and gets cited by AI assistants. You’ll plan and write website pages, blogs, landing pages, and social/GMB posts. You’ll partner with our SEO lead and developer on site architecture, interlinking, schema, and on-page fixes. You’re organized, proactive, and comfortable showing your work.

## What You’ll Do

### Content strategy and writing

- Build a Topic Domination Plan for assigned brands and turn it into an action plan with weekly deliverables.
- Research queries and topics using query fan-out, Keyword Planner, SEMrush, regex, and manual SERP/PAA checks.
- Write and optimize: service pages, supporting pages, city pages, landing pages, blogs, case studies, and lead-gen content.
- Add TL;DR and FAQs to every long-form piece to improve LLM citations.
- Create simple content maps to guide site architecture and interlinking.
- Coordinate with the web developer to align copy with wireframes and UX.

### SEO + AI/LLM implementation

- Review GSC to spot opportunities, cannibalization, and quick wins.
- Support AI analytics (using available server logs) to understand how content performs in LLMs and adjust accordingly.
- Execute topical authority tactics that strengthen each brand’s core offers.
- Plan and maintain an SEO/AI roadmap so everyone can see what ships and when.

### On-page, technical collaboration, and off-page support

- Fix keyword cannibalization with URL, title, H1, and meta updates.
- Provide schema requirements to dev (and edit JSON-LD when needed).
- Build interlinking plans and clean up thin or overlapping content.
- QA site architecture issues with services and city-page slugs.
- Coordinate off-page asks with the team (GMB posts, citations, basic briefs for links).

### Publishing and social

- Manage GMB posts across active clients (manual scheduling where needed).
- Draft captions for social and publish announcements for new pages, case studies, blogs, and site updates.
- Maintain brand voice and follow approved guidelines; keep a simple content calendar visible to the team.

### Light brand and media support

- Create or brief simple infographics to support content.
- Request and organize media; do light photo/video edits for web when needed.

## What Success Looks Like (Accountability)

- Content quality, accuracy, and SEO compliance meet our standards.
- Brand guidelines are followed across all deliverables.
- Work is delivered on time and documented clearly in ClickUp.
- Feedback from clients and the internal team is applied promptly.
- Social and GMB posting is consistent and relevant.

## Must-Haves (Skills and Tools)

- Strong SEO writing for web pages and blogs (clear, useful, conversion-minded).
- Research skills using: Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, SurferSEO, Screaming Frog, GSC, and ChatGPT.
- Working knowledge of schema types and on-page SEO.
- Familiar with Webflow
- Comfortable creating and maintaining brand guidelines with designers.
- Social copywriting and GMB experience.
- Organized in ClickUp or similar PM tools; documents process and decisions.
- Professional communication: positive, proactive, solution-focused; camera on during 1:1 and team calls.

## Nice-to-Haves

- Experience building topical maps and site content architecture.
- Basic design skills in Figma or Adobe Suite for simple infographics.
- Familiar with Relume, Webflow components, or CMS collections.
- Exposure to GoHighLevel and N8N for marketing automations.
- Write and maintain copy for marketing funnels, forms, emails, and texts.
- Document automation workflows with clear triggers, steps, and messages
